I'm glad I gave this a shot cos the queue looked quite long but it does move fast as some have mentioned. I waited for around 5 minutes even though there were about 10 people ahead of me. Tried their mee rebus with added chicken and egg for a total of $4! In this day and age, I think it's quite a steal especially when the portion and taste is so good. The uncle is friendly and this is certainly a stall I'm happy to recommend and come back to try other things. Do note that it's a cash-only stall :)

This stall always have a long queue. Today, I came here after lunch hours and there was only 4 persons ahead of me. The last time I had the mee rebus here was many years back and I had good memory of the taste and flavour. I was excited to have this dish again. The mee rebus gravy was a little dilute from what I had before and the taste is also not as robust even though I added black soya sauce. The chilli slices were huge chunks instead. The half piece of lime was really small. I didn't enjoy my mee rebus here today.

Serves lunch and dinner. $3/- a portion which I think it is difficult to find in Singapore this day Queue is quite long but moves relatively fast if no one ahead of you has big orders. Very friendly stallholders Food wise - Decent portions with great taste Dun miss this if you a in transit at this HC!

Honest review, this stall is past its former glory and is way past its expiry date. Food used to be so much better but standards have dropped tremendously and isn’t worth the que in the very hot hawker center. Mee rebus and mee Soto was really really salty, used to have that gravy soupy flavor but all that is gone and now replaced with lots of salt. Also they only accept cash, so if you had qued for 15-20 mins and reached yr turn all sweaty and don’t carry cash then you will be turned away by really rude staff especially the young mut that was taking the orders today, in this day and age when most things are digital this stall is still using cash only and what got to me was when I asked this mut if he accepted paynow he told me he has paynow but for me I only can pay by cash, I do not know why he said that, was it to annoy me or was he just being outright blunt and sarcastic, even when I told him to keep the food aside for me and I’ll go back to my car to take the 3.50 he refused and said lineup again with a smile that looked malicious, he left me no choice but to ask the old white haired geezer behind me that I would paynow him 3.50 and he told me I don’t carry so much cash, what a clown. Anyways I left and won’t be coming back again.
