We had an ice cream making session led by Tom and assisted by his team - very good and clear lessons, interactive and much hands on. Kids and even myself did our own ice cream, was fun! I also personally sampled many of their flavors, and I would say the flavors that stand out in a nice way to me were the banana split, taro, durian was very good, creme brulee, salted caramel as well as their pistachio. Their ice cream are more refined, light and easy on the palate (you won't get like super shocking flavors or sweetness) that you can eat again and again. They also have a very rare ice cream that I had not seen before but it's very very niche, don't think many will like. It's honey sea coconut, and I enjoyed it as I grew up eating that dessert after school as a lad Overall, very enjoyable

Passby this area and saw this ice cream cafe so we pop in straight! 😋 I really like their mao shang wang durian. Salted caramel is 1 of my favourite and usual flavour which I normally would go for it but just not for their caramel. It dun taste salted, it just tasted weird perhaps is juz me. 🤣 Overall a good stop over for a quick recharge for something sweet as well they have a friendly server! 😃

$12.60 for these 3 scoop of soft melting ice cream. Taste is not fantastic comparing to many great ice creams out there. I will never patronise from this shop anymore. This is the worst ice cream ever tasted.

The ice-cream and waffle is not bad. I ordered a mint ice-cream with waffle for 9.50. The waffle matches well with ice-cream. The mint ice-cream is not bad but nothing special. Most of the ice-cream shop I visited provide free water but there is no free water here. I am hoping there is extra touch to the service. I am the only customer in the shop hence the staff are quite free. But I was called not in a very friendly tone to collect the food instead. But well.. is difficult to find friendly staff in F&B too

Knowing this shop by joining the ice cream making workshop. The shop was located at Jalan Kuras near to the Upper Thomson Road. The owner was nice and friendly and he was knowledgeable about ice cream making. Ice Cream Chefs has a history of 16 years. The shop was providing a wide variety of ice cream flavour and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended for the durian ice cream and strawberry cheese flavour. The shop has a nice atmosphere and it was a good choice for tea break or high tea with families or friends.

Nice cosy place for a cup of ice cream in the hot afternoon. Especially after my lunch in the nearby Sembawang Hills HC and I need an air-con place to cool down before my next appointment. Lots of varieties and really enjoyed the Mao Shan Wang ice cream. Will try the milk shakes and waffle next time with my family when i am around this Upper Thomson area again.

Very fluffy and crispy waffles. Their ice cream is also quite spectacular, with many different flavours to choose from. A flavour that really stood out to me was the Turkish Apple Tea Ice Cream, my mother really enjoyed it. I would totally come back here again!

Decided to drop by for a quick bite. The staff working, Don, was very friendly and recommended strawberry. Generous serving, taste great with strawberry chunks and just the right sweetness! Definitely a hidden gem!

Nice cosy estate ice cream parlour with home made ice cream. Quite a few flavours but not all are available daily. There’s waffles, cakes n brownies too. Both indoor n outdoor seating n the young staff are polite n helpful. A bit costlier (price) but the scoops are larger, cones cost more than most other parlours. Ice cream is tasty, creamy but a tad softer than usual. Great place for dessert after dinner!

My second time here after so many years and the service here has stayed the same! They have a team of really polite, friendly and helpful staff who make you feel welcome the minute you stepped into the store. They are also very patient when my family and I took quite a while to decide on the flavours, toppings etc. I also accidentally toppled over a few cans of drinks in the fridge and one staff immediately came over and helped me out. Very attentive indeed! I think the flavours have changed a lot over the few years. I could not remember what I had few years ago but the flavours I see now are so special because they are leaning towards the local taste such as Kaya Lottee and Bandung. I had the creme brulee on waffles and it was so good! The bandung has a distinctive rose flavour and it could not get any more local than that! The cappuccino flavour is a little bit on the strong side; meant for strict coffee lovers. The chocolate Hershey's was rich and good; a heaven for chocolate lovers. Overall, I had a really great experience here! Will consider coming back to get their ice cream cakes.

First time here. Taste and texture of ice cream was great although certain flavours may be a tad sweet for some. Flavour wise, there were a few that were not too common like Turkish apple tea. Only downside is that the location is not quite accessible via public transport.

Legendary place! Been here for ages since I was in secondary school to now, a dad with 2 kids. Love how it’s the same. Credits to the owner staying in the business for so long. Do support!

We had our outing here and the children were engaged in Ice Cream making workshop. The workshop was fun and the children were able to experience hands-on making of their own ice cream and even tasted it. It was a remarkable experience for them and we loved the oreo ice cream, it was yum! The owner, Mr Tom and his team were very welcoming and kind. We appreciated their assistance all throughout the workshop. They were clear with their instructions for the children when making their ice cream. Must try for kids and adults! 😃

A surprise find! Loved their ice-cream. Had a super nice Mao -Shang durian one (I know) and then I indulged some more with a chocolate one and waffles. Lots of creative flavours different from the usual offers. Not too sweet so perfect for my taste. And they do ice-cream making workshop too apparently!
