Honeybee @ Downtown East

I wish I could say my experience was good, but I must be truthful. Came on a special journey after seeing their attractively huge desserts on a poster. For $9.90, you get a nicely sweetened and textured, but depressingly portioned lump of half-baked cookie dough (some people's prefer it like this, nothing wrong with the baking time) and a spiral (not hollow 👍) of chemical-tasting, definitely powder-made instant ice cream infused with a subtle but noticeable honey (or sugar) flavour. For the price, I would say absolutely not worth the serving size and quality. Staff were direct and not very personable, but there are no major red flags. Atmosphere created by a mix of handmade and AI posters, alongside light, woven outdoor chairs around small, simple tables. Though I didn't get their ice cream towers or frappes which did look enticing on their posters, I would guess, given that they all use the same chemical ice cream base, that they are regrettably not very good, especially not for this price.
