Namtown “Modern Halal Viet Food” is honestly one of the best Vietnamese spots I’ve tried in a long time. The food is incredibly flavorful while still feeling fresh and clean, which is rare. You can tell they really care about the quality, every dish tastes well-balanced, not too heavy but still super satisfying. The fact that everything is halal makes it even better because it opens up authentic Vietnamese flavors to more people without compromising taste. The meats are perfectly cooked, tender, and well-seasoned, and the sauces are next level — rich, aromatic, and addictive. The vibe is modern but still keeps that cozy Vietnamese feel. Great place to hang out with friends or just grab a solid meal when you’re craving something comforting but high quality. Highly recommend, definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to.

Four of us visited Namtown Halal Vietnam Food today at 925 Yishun Central 1, #01-211, and we had such a wonderful experience! The restaurant offers a wide variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes. Even though all the food is halal, I could still enjoy the familiar taste and flavors of Vietnam through the well-balanced seasonings and fresh ingredients. What impressed me most was the very generous portion size of every dish. We tried the fried spring rolls, Bánh Mì, sliced beef flat noodles (Phở Bò), and Bún Bò Huế, which was my personal favorite. They also serve many beef specialties that Vietnamese people love, such as Bò Né and Bò Bít Tết. The food was so good that I packed home fried spring rolls and Bánh Mì (both chicken and beef) for my family, and they absolutely loved them too! Beyond the delicious food, I was touched by the warm hospitality and generosity of the two Vietnamese owners, who made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic halal Vietnamese cuisine in Yishun. The prices are very affordable, the portions are generous, and the food is absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be back!

As a healthy person I am always on the look out for healthy vegetarian meal options. At Namtown, I am very impressed with the Chicken Pho and the springs roll are simply divine and super delicious and not salty at all. Doesn’t taste like MSG was added. Very natural taste of chicken stock soup based!

Looking forward to taste the Viet food they serve! (Before having it) 1 star - generous serving 2 star - price point worthy But the rest of it — baguette + meat, not the banh mi that I thought it would taste like. Noodles as well — no taste to it even with the sauce.
