One of the best hot pot restaurants in Melbourne CBD! The lamb was incredibly fresh, tender, and full of flavour. The broth was rich and delicious, and there was a great selection of fresh vegetables, mushrooms, and other ingredients. The service was excellent—staff were friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. Even during busy hours, everything was well organised and we didn’t have to wait long. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and had a lively atmosphere. It’s a great place for family dinners or catching up with friends. Highly recommend Happy Lamb if you’re looking for quality hot pot in the city. We’ll definitely be back!

Been here 3 times already and I can’t believe this is my first review! The food has been consistently excellent every visit. Both the traditional and spicy broths are incredibly flavourful and rich, making every meal so enjoyable. The lamb, beef slices, and Angus beef are always fresh and delicious, and there’s a great variety of vegetables to choose from. I especially love the cheese tofu, and the handmade beef balls are an absolute must order. I’ve tried both the all you can eat and the à la carte options, and honestly, both are totally worth it because the quality and flavours are just that good. No matter which option you choose, you’re in for a satisfying meal. I’ll definitely be back for the 4th time!

Tried their Deluxe Wagyu All You Can Eat recently for $59.9pp, which includes unlimited wagyu on top of the regular buffet. The wagyu had really nice marbling and turned super tender after just a few seconds in the soup. We chose the dual soup base with bone broth and tomato soup, which worked so well with the meat and seafood. The set also came with beef tongue, giant prawns, fried mantou and bubble tea. Even though we were already full, we somehow still ended up ordering noodles at the end 😂

Great hot pot experience at Happy Lamb! The soup bases were tasty, and the wagyu beef was fresh and good quality. Good variety of meat, seafood, vegetables and sides. I also like that they are halal-friendly and have vegetarian-friendly options, which makes it easier to come with friends. Good value for an AYCE hot pot.

HALAL-friendly AYCE hotpot in Melbourne starting from $39.9 - great value for what you get. There are plenty of options to choose from, and you can also pay additional to upgrade to the wagyu deluxe AYCE. We tried the wagyu and the quality was amazing - the marbling was beautiful and the meat was incredibly tender. The prawns were also a highlight, very fresh. Overall, it’s a comforting and enjoyable meal, especially perfect for colder weather. Perfect if you’re looking for an affordable hotpot spot in the CBD.
