Nasi Lemak is absolutely delicious and value for money! For $5 you get a chicken wing, a Kining fish & a piece of egg omelette (Set A). Rice is cooked to perfection with a rich coconut favour and goes really well with their chilli! Both fried chicken and fish has a very unique turmeric seasoning which you can’t get anywhere else. Will definitely return to try their other options!

Decent mee soto. $5.50 with bergedil. Noodles a little too under. Flavorful broth. Need to repeat your orders a few times. 😆

Makcik manning the store when I visited is quite friendly. Had the Mee soto, personally prefer broth with a bit more cinnamon and slightly less sweet, but a good bowl regardless. (I usually don't leave reviews, but think the store deserves a higher rating than what it currently has)

Mee Soto (SGD $5) @ Hajjah Mariam Muslim Food. . This heritage stall has been operating for more than a decade, my earliest recollection of dining here being April 2012. . Love the warm clear thin turmeric infused chicken soup / broth with meaty sweet salty savoury spice flavour. . The generous portion of chewy yellow egg noodles, crisp bean sprouts, crisp coriander, tender shredded chicken, and dollop of soy red chili paste, lend grainy sweet vegetal herbal meaty savoury salty earthy spice flavour. . A large tender begedil / fried potato patty with starchy earthy salty savoury sweet spice flavour, completes. . . . Nasi Lemak (SGD $5.50) @ Hajjah Mariam Muslim Food. . Their rendition has a generous mound of fluffy soft long-grain coconut rice with grainy earthy floral sweet flavour. The crunchy juicy thick cucumber slice carries vegetal sweet flavour, the soft springy fried chicken egg has eggy savoury sweet flavour, and the crunchy firm crispy deep-fried ikan bilis / anchovies with roasted salted peanuts have fishy savoury salty nutty flavour. . The turmeric marinated chicken wing is deep-fried beautifully, with a crisp exterior and tender interior, carrying meaty savoury salty spice flavour. Their sambal tumis / stir-fried chili paste is partly grainy partly smooth, with pleasant savoury sweet spice flavour.

Good selection of Muslim food and the nasi lemak is worth trying for $4 u get chicken wing and fish or other set chicken wing and ikan bilis. Mee rubus also tasted wholesome not the watered down gravy. Always a long queue for this stall
