Verdict Excellent chicken rice. They did everything right. Will return the next time I’m in Singapore. Food We got the half chicken set for the three of us. It was more than enough. A friend paid for us so I can’t recall the price. But everything was good. The chicken was juicy and tasty. The chicken skin was fatty. The soup had just the right amount of saltiness and flavour. While the rice was perfectly cooked. Couldn’t ask for more really. Service We ordered as I recall through a QR code. Not much to say on that. But the staff were friendly and helpful. Location Excellent location in what I feel is in the middle of Kampung Glam. Perfect for a stopover when you’re in the area.

Came in on a whim, and glad we did! Ordered x2 sets of chicken rice with extra roasted chicken to try both steam and roasted. Also ordered a dessert (which wasn’t overly sweet) and everything was delicious, served fresh and quickly. Staff were attentive and quick to help, as well as tidy and clean constantly. Worth a visit! Also is Halal & easy to find! They also have wonderfully positive messages on their walls!

Brought my parents to try a Muslim-owned, celebrity couple Chinese-style chicken rice shop—and we did not regret it one bit! Honestly, it’s the best I’ve tasted so far. The menu is impressively wide, the food is incredibly tasty, and the portions are generous. Prices are reasonable, and the service staff were kind, attentive, and welcoming. The whole place has a cosy, comfortable setting too. We especially loved the chap chye and the youtiao sotong—both were absolutely delicious. The chicken skin sauce is so unique, and the rice is perfectly fragrant. Truly top notch! I’m so glad we gave this place a try—my parents enjoyed it so much, which made the experience even more special. Wishing this awesome restaurant continued success and relevance. Congratulations to the owners—you’ve nailed it! Best wishes for ongoing success and prosperity, inshaAllah Ameen 🤍

Decent halal chicken rice. The rice could be more fragrant and flavourful, and the steamed chicken could be a little more tender and silky. The sides were better than the chicken rice sets. Especially enjoyed the stuffed youtiao and chicken skin. The latter was a tad too salty but nonetheless pretty addictive. Ordering was easily done via QR code and the food didn’t take long to be served thereafter.
