An amazing dining experience at Positano! Ordered various dishes and desert and thoroughly enjoyed them all! Service was excellent as well. Highly recommended if you love italian cuisine! 10/10. Spicy chicken pizza and godfather was especially good!

Walk-In lunch for 2 at around 1pm. The place is quite packed but we manage to get a spot. Ordered the starter Truffle fries & Mozzarella Balls, both were delicious & quite filling. The main dish arrive shortly, black squid ink & mushroom linguini which was well prepared. Do take note the black squid ink dish is very spicy. Ordered the caramel cheesecake which was so lovely. The place has a very good ambient since we got seated on the 2nd floor. Best to make reservation for big groups as seats are limited.

Good halal restaurant with high standard food, refreshing drinks, friendly crews, very enjoyable experience overall. The mushroom soup is aroma, both desserts are nice, too full to finish all. Had company dinner there, everyone gives a thumb up 👍🏻, highly recommended for company dinner especially with halal oversea guests.

A very pretty and comfortable place with amazing staff and food! I love all of their dishes, especially the truffle risotto because it simply warms my heart. Everything was shared within 3 pax and we left being full! The dessert is a MUST TRY. I Love it so much and the chocolate is just so amazing and warm. Really an enjoyable place!

Definitely one of my favourite halal Italian restaurants. The Classic Lobster Bisque was amazing!!! I enjoyed the 8-Pocket Rocket Calzone which was pretty unique. The Ricotta & Spinach Ravioli was disappointing though. Good service.

Went there for a gathering and the acoustics was not made for large gatherings. I do like the salad though the waiter did not ask if I wanted olives in my salad. Service was prompt for a bustling place. The ambience around the restaurant is nice as kg glam has a nice vibe. Nice area to walk around after the meal.

Service is good with friendly staff. Food is served quite fast, they are tasty, but all tend to be on the salty side. The call out for us is the squid ink seafood spaghetti and the five cheeses pizza. The thin crust was impressive. The spaghetti cooked Al Dante. The lobster bisque was nice but too salty; the soft shell crab for the linguine was not fresh, fried in thick batter and tasted weird. The ambience is at best so so…

Left: Spicy chicken pizza 🌶️🐔; signature flavor, simply must try. Right: Margarita 🍕. A creamy version of the a classic. The crust is light and crispy. Like it a lot. Service is great, owners are friendly and helpful too.

Went as a party of 6. We didn't get to try the signature items as it was during the Ramadan period but most of the food ordered were not too bad. Truffle fries and the steak burger were a tad salty for me but flavour wise was still acceptable. Reservations is recommended.

We've sampled numerous Italian eateries in the past, but the unique selling proposition here has to be their halal offerings, something that truly sets them apart. The staff at this restaurant deserves a special shout out. They are not just friendly, but truly attentive, ensuring our dining experience is exceptional every time we visit. The service is top-notch, making us feel welcome and valued, a combination not commonly found in every establishment. Cleanliness, often a crucial but overlooked aspect of any restaurant, is meticulously maintained here. The environment is clean and hygienic, adding to the overall experience, and allowing us to relax and enjoy our meal with peace of mind. Their pricing deserves a special mention. Affordable yet in no way compromising on the quality or taste of their food, they have struck the perfect balance, making it a wonderful destination for casual dining or even special occasions. Good service and atmosphere. Food quality need to be reviewed by owners for its consistency. Don’t let ignorance of staffs bring down its reputation. Other than that, good range of menu and owners are friendly.

came here expecting good food because of the reviews and sadly left disappointed. food was super average and pretty pricey, but I guess it is OK considering the location. canned drinks were $3.95, and the coke that we received tasted weird and flat. five cheese pizza was meh as there was not much cheesy flavour, though the watery blue cheese sauce was pretty tasty. was recommended the soft shell crab linguine, but all of us agreed it tasted weird (it was really bland), so we got it refired, and it was better but still just alright. tasted like lobster bisque pasta with a very oily soft shell crab. portions are pretty big, our party of 3 were full from a pizza, pasta, truffle fries and a creme brulee. the bill came up to about $100. service is great. :)

Great place for western halal food. We got a few dishes for sharing as we were spoilt for choice. Service was personable and staff was upfront that they had sold out of some items, that we should order dessert in advance and that we would have to wait, which I appreciated. They were also very attentive but also let us sit and not chase us away when we finished our meal. Food was delicious and I’ll be back to try more dishes for sure.

I had an outstanding experience at Positano restaurant on Busorrah Street. The staff, including Rado, Hisham, Amirul, and Putri, were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making our visit truly enjoyable. Despite not having a reservation, we were graciously provided with a comfortable seating area when we visited on Tuesday, November 14th, 2023, with my girlfriends and their daughter. The food at Positano was not just nice; it was very, very nice! Each dish was a delightful blend of flavors and quality ingredients. Moreover, the dessert was nothing short of deliziosa. The culinary experience was memorable, and the service from the staff further enhanced our overall satisfaction. I'm already looking forward to returning to Positano, and this time, I plan to bring my cousins and sisters along. A big thank you to the entire team for the awesome service. Highly recommended!

If I could give a 6 star for service, I would say the tall guy outside who greeted us was marvelous. He is the epitome of service . I bet he worked in a Michelin restaurant before. He checked on us, top up our water, and even brought extra napkins for my daughter cause he knew that carbonara could be messy. So yes. 6 🌟 star for his service. Carbonara was creamy, and the Squid ink pasta was spicy nice. Would try their other dishes next time.

The food was incredible. The location is convenient and accessible. Service was excellent, no doubt about it. Price wise, very competitive for the premium food you are paying for. Overall, I am satisfied. Will come again for sure.

Food standards and tastes have dropped tremendously. The seafood was from frozen sources and not fresh. No more complimentary ice or warm water. Am very disappointed by the whole dining experience as it was not the same as before. May be the last visit here, although it was my top choice previously.

Patronised the place on a Friday evening with a big group. During ordering, staff was very enthusiastic about recommending us their food and went ahead to order for us. However, the food took more than 1 hr to serve, and they over ordered the food for us. By the time the mains arrived, it was 9.40pm. The food was awful and bland, not authentic Italian food. Can't believe waited for so long and was served with food worse than hawker centre. Feel embarrassed for them that they still can proudly say all their food were sold out.

Hands down the best risotto and I absolutely loved the mushroom bruschetta. The mango shake was also very refreshing. AND the place is halal.

The place itself gave a really rustic feel. From the moment we stepped foot outside the restaurant, we were greeted very warmly by the staff. He was aggressive in getting us to dine in. Before ordering, he shared with us the popular dishes and his personal recommendations. The food was fantastic. The portion was quite big, too. A really authentic Italian-tasting place. Really recommend the spinach ricotta ravioli. Tangy tomato sauce was perfect to pair with the ravioli.

Sharing my personal views and what I experienced while dining at this restaurant. Location is simply great. Very bustling and hyped. You can’t help but having high adrenaline rush with expectations while dining within Bussorah/Arab St. Diving directly into the quality of food and services; My group of friends and I made early(a few days prior) booking for our iftar. Upon arrival and near to breaking fast, they served us dates and started bringing out some appetisers (some apps was not sent together; ie mushroom soup was only given after main course was done.. 🤦🏻♂️) and drinks that we ordered. Here comes the 1st encounter where 2 cups of Americano (there’s more to this at the later part) was part of our orders; being served before even breaking fast, the service staff didn’t ask if we would like it served at the start or the end of the meal 🤦🏻♂️. Basic courtesy for an established restaurant, the least you can do was to ask. As my friend and I preferred to have nice hot coffee after our meals. The food (apps and mains) weren’t even warm. Feels like reheated via microwave. Presentation, as shared, pretty decent. But taste wise, I may not be a chef but I do enjoy a nice warm (at least) meal. Seeing some of our mains and apps wasn’t sent even after majority of us have completed our main course, my friend approached the service counter to help us expedite our friend’s meal. I’ve shared with the service staff on the coffee ☕️ and he was kind enough to replace with a new cuppa. I appreciate the kind gesture but when the newly replaced cuppa comes with “extra” ingredient; I just have to feedback again of the inconsistency to them. And yes, they did replace with a third cuppa but I let my friend have it instead. Why I share this even after giving my feedback to them? I do hope they would take this seriously as a simple cup of coffee can be fumbled multiple times… 🤦🏻♂️ Lastly, I do applaud to some of your kind service staff for being professional and patience but there were 2 who explained that they were swarmed and busy with orders and customers. With all due respect, being busy with customers and orders is a good problem not a bad one. To use that as part of the explanation, I believe you can do better. My honest opinion. Summing up: Location: 4/5 (nice locale) Food: 2/5 (if to include my friends collectively; 1/5) Service: 2/5 (2 of the service deserved compliments for their patience and professionalism).

Dropped by during lunch for their mushroom risotto and it did not disappoint! Dish was super rich and creamy; porcini mushroom was cooked to perfection, with cheese and truffle to top it all off. The whole dish was simply chef’s kiss. Second floor was also relatively empty today so we had the whole space to ourselves which was lovely. Will definitely be back soon!

Serving awesome Halal Italian food and desserts! We were seated on the 2nd level which I felt was a better dining experience than 1st. More spacious seating at 2nd with many different art pieces to bring you to “Positano“ 😅 Ordered mains, pizza and bites for sharing! And every item never fails to bring a “yum” after each bite! 😋👍🏻 Personally prefer their tomato based pasta over cream based! Loved the Soft Shell Crab Linguine 🦀🍝 with a huge yet still hot and crispy soft shell crab when served! Definitely worth the buck and calories. Star-shaped folded pizza 🍕🧀 was great too, really like how the burrata cheese matches so well with the other simple ingredients, fresh and creamy all together. Sides were served hot too, little bites for table sharing. For desserts, highly recommend to order their Tiramisu ☕️🍰 (note: it’s non-alcohol since they are halal certified, but still yummylicious) and Chocolate Lava Cake 🍫🍮! Absolutely awesome with the perfect sweetness and bitterness. Not overly sweet and great way to end our meal! Service staffs were attentive , however, place gets crowded during lunch peak, and sometimes service may be slightly lacking, but this is understandable.
