Great service from stall number 19 at corner last rows is a must to try! It sell very good stingray, best bean sprout 🌱 vegetables 🥦 and rice 🍚 just ordered simple dish only surprisingly all their spice sambal is so genuine tasty 😋 than the rest of the stall I tried! My last order for tonight on 31 Oct 2022, will wait till 1 February 2023 to reopen, I’m gonna order bigger seafood 🦞😄 Thank you stall brother and boss cooking 🧑‍🍳

[2022-08-30, $16/pax] Best stingray I've had, piping hot and spicy and rich. The sambal sotong was nice, and baby kai lan okay.

Awesome stingray fish. Veggies laced with garlic. Carrot cake which you see here is not sold here but from the restaurant around here. Look for the guy called - Good man. That’s what he proclaims himself to be. The weight of fish and price are reasonable for this Newton circus hawker center is famous for its notoriety ! But trust me. U get right price for ur meal !!

Came after seeing good reviews and turns out this stall is the very same one we patronised frequently years ago, we just didn't take note of the stall no. Its the same chef and the dishes he whipped up were delicious. We loved it then, we still love it now. Recommended.

This place has the best Sambal Stingray in Singapore. The sambal sotong is amazing too. Recently tried their Baby Sotong and was blown away by the flavors and super crispy. It also has that smokey wokhey flavor. They are located near the toilets and facing the car park. I've been to this stall more than 10 years ago when they were located within the inner section of the hawker. There used to be a rocker style dude with a bandaba who serves and takes orders for them if anyone remembers. After the renovation they somehow got pushed to the outer parameters. It's really sad that not much people know about this stall but they are really friendly and the seafood is amazing.

Food is reasonably priced. Crispy cereal prawns are really crispy and come with abundant cereal. Salted egg chicken is good too. Stingray is special but I’m not sure how it compares with other restaurants. Open till late night!

Not many Sambal stingray in Singapore that i can appreciate. This is one of them. The stingray was fresh and cooked to perfection. The sambal which is star of the dish striked a balance between spicy, tangy and sweet. Not too over power. The chopped onions was so refreshing and enough crunch to complete the dish!

[2023-04-01, $13] Still the undeniable king. Flavourful, oniony sambal. Soft, fresh stingray. Fantastic char. Easily won a head to head with Stall 31. [2022-08-30, $16/pax] Best stingray I've had, piping hot and spicy and rich. The sambal sotong was nice, and baby kai lan okay.

Maybe I'm not lucky ? Abundant chilli and chinchalok. But the taste is meh and the meat of the fish is very soft almost undercook. There are better stingray in newton hawker.

Stingray BBQ, Sambal sotong and Fried rice and bean sprout... foods are delicious. Especially stingray BBQ, we repeat order, one not enough.
