I have found the best prata in Singapore and it is in north Yishun area! The humble egg prata looks simple but it’s very difficult to be executed so well. Crispy enough on the inside while feeling the softness of the egg with every bite was like a party in your mouth. The fish curry sauce lent a bit of a tanginess to the whole plate. The briyani though could use a bit of an improvement. The chicken was dry and the rice was missing some key seasonings. Still, not a bad place as you visit this 24hour restaurant anytime of the day.

I wish this place was open 24hrs because i'd come here for supper alot more often. I love their nasi goreng thai and mango lassi alot, their menu is very affordable and it isnt very packed. The nasi goreng thai is very fragrant and flavourful. The mango lassi is also refreshing & sweet. Yesterday i went again and they ran out of mango lassi and they offered me pineapple lassi instead and it was surprisingly amazing. to me it might be even better than the mango lassi.. although i dont think i saw it on the menu:( I also tried their prata once and it was good too! Nothing too special but it was still good. Their service is pretty fast also and they are very friendly😁. Only a little crowded during dinner timing but i can still find seats pretty easily.

comfort food! expect a heart meal here. ordered their kambing briyani and doesn’t disappoint. the sauce is thick, flavourful and paired well with the chilli sauce. the rice is fragrant and portion is huge! their nasi lemak and prata are good too.

Cheese prata and masala thosai were really good, the curries were tasty. Plenty of seating and reasonably priced. Fast and friendly service.

Food was average. Borderline acceptable. However service has not improved at all for the past 3 years or so? Service in terms of waiting time. Waited for 25min for 2 plain prata and 1 egg prata. Hardly crowded, even on a Saturday, yet took this long?came here a few times, but today I was just hoping it would be faster as there wasn't any crowd. I was wrong though. And both the food and curry wasn't even hot when I got it. Not recommended for quick bites, however food is acceptable to fill your stomach

10 of us had a delightful lunch here. Good variety of dishes and reasonably priced. The restaurant was quiet at about 2pm and dishes were served fast. Non meat items such as bean curds, green vegetables are good options to add on. Will definitely return again.

Ordered half chicken, fried beancurd and prawn rolls. Chicken could be better though the accompany sauces were good. Fried beancurd was average, crispy on outside and soft on the inside. Prawn rolls were the best dish, very well seasoned filling and good amount of content.

Food is okay, not the best. Either too sweet , too oily. Chicken rice is okay, normal thai style chicken rice. Service can be improved, seems short handed. Overall is okay to eat here for convenience , but many thai place better

Juicy and tender white and roasted chicken rice. Cost me $9 but its worth it and very reasonably priced for a restaurant. They have other items like tomyum goong and fishes, see photos of menu attached. Best part its halal!

Service Superb Esp The Guy Wearing Black. Restaurant Was Almost Full On Fri Nite. The Hotpot Tomyum Base Was More To Spicy Than Sour. Would Much Preferred Chicken Slices Than Chunks. Overall A Satisfied Meal After All.

Travel from the East to Nex to try this restaurant , and is being excellent Served by ratree. The food shown in the picture is recommended by the head chef himself, Chef Ali. It’s extremely delicious and worth the travel. Thank you for the hospitality, will definitely come here again.

Decent portion of chicken rice for $5.50 in a mall. Disappointed that no soup was served with it. The vegetable was way too sweet, though nicely fried. Serving time was as short as under 10 mins.

Food: 4.5/5 Chicken rice, well seasoned. Prawn rolls were delightful. Chicken cashew nuts is good. ABC soup set is flavourful without the aftertaste of msg. (You know how some cheap chicken rice leave this strange taste in your mouth? Yea, not here!) Yup, I will be back to try other items. :) Service: 5/5 friendly Thai staff on duty. Ambience: 5/5 comfortable. Also has hard chairs or cushioned chairs. Wheelchair friendly. Nice view. Value: $50+ for 2 pax, 2h. Ordered too much. Included a lunch set with extras.

Big and spacious restaurant, comfortable place for a meal. Chicken rice and Thai basil kailan delicious. I often worked in Thailand, so comparing with what I ate there, I'd give 70 marks for authenticity. Good effort. 👍

Food is really tasty, so if you like bold and strong flavors, Go-Ang will deliver on that. Scored 4 stars cos it's too salty and strong tasting for me... Service can be slow at times, us and next table had been waving for 5-10 minutes but no one responded until I walked to the server (the initial entry they were quick) Ambience is nice, we took the table facing outside of the building

Their steamed chicken was so much better than the roasted. It is so moist and juicy. But the unfortunate thing is that their chicken rice don't pack the chicken rice flavour and the chili is just normal. Had their sambal kangkong, which is on the sweeter side and no spice at all. Love their chicken gizzards though. It doesn't have the gamey taste. Overall I'll go back just for their steam chicken and chicken gizzards. But not for the rest. It felt like the combination of roast & steam chicken (meant for 2-3 pax) is much lesser than a ½ chicken. Will need to go back and test this logic again.

They used to serve soup with their chicken rice, which is practically a staple, but have recently stopped to encourage patrons to order their soup options. Disappointed with this business decision as I enjoyed their soup in the past and chose this over other just for their soup. Will probably not come again just for the chicken rice but thats a personal choice and preference, their food is still great for value (was better value when they had their soup). Patronage has decreased by quite a bit since I last came and I think its because of the soup. (Please bring back the soup) Atmosphere in the place is decent with no waiting time and the service is fast. Service used to be better in the past, and they were happy to refil the soup. I don't think i mentioned this before but the soup was their selling point to why i brought friends over. If you haven't gotten the gist of what I'm saying yet, THE SOUP SHOULD BE BROUGHT BACK!! photo shows a sad plate of chicken rice with no soup

Amazing Thai food, must try Red Tom Yum Gai Pot and homemade coconut dessert. Nice atmosphere but staff can improve the service experience, they hardly spoke.

Sad to say this place doesnt fit to be michelin bib gourmand. Chicken was tasty but rice was hard. Royale Chive was more sweet than savoury.. Chap Chye gravy was tasty but Vegetables were not cook to soft but raw and hard. Soup had to be requested but wasnt as tasty as my neighbourhood chicken rice stall. No queue and not crowded. Good service but not going back due to the food.

This is a thai restaurant in Nex shopping centre. They specialise in thai 🐔 🍚 and other dishes. I'm suprise the rating is so high at 4.6. Honestly, I find the rating very over rated. The 🐔 🍚 was ok, but not brilliant. I still prefer the 🇸🇬 style because of their sauce are not my cup of tea. The 🥭 was very sweet, not authentic at all. 😊 eating thai 🐔 🍚

$18++ for half a chicken. The amount looks rather little for half chicken, partially becos they deboned it. The sauce given was stingily little I wonder why. Would have liked more for more oomph to the chicken. Meat considered tender. Kailan with mushroom was not bad. You can get a free drink if give 5* rating, maybe this helped to boost their review ratings here.
