This is the most miserable piece of chicken cutlet I have ever seen. As shown in the photo, the two corner pieces were almost entirely batter with hardly any chicken inside. The small separate piece of meat below the main cutlet was only added after I pointed out that there was barely any meat. Even then, it felt like it was given very reluctantly. It was extremely disappointing to pay for a chicken cutlet and receive mostly flour and batter instead of actual chicken. While the curry itself was flavourful and enjoyable, the quality and portion of the chicken cutlet fell far below expectations. The staff are generally friendly, especially the Malay aunty

My favourite, Encik Tan’s food quality has declined significantly. The rice and noodles are often undercooked, with hard portions that are unpleasant to eat.

"very BAD staff attitude!!..I visited the restaurant for some wonton mee, placed my order, and paid. There was a staff member there—a Malay woman in her 30s—who was speaking quite loudly into a hands-free earpiece while working. I took a seat while waiting for my food, and the older gentleman who took my order double-checked with me to confirm I’d ordered the wonton mee. I told him yes. However, once the food was ready, the lady snapped at me, saying, 'The food is done; did you expect me to serve it to your table?' Was that really necessary? If she had spoken politely, I would have understood. She was preoccupied with a phone call while working—is that considered professional ethics? I understand the older gentleman is the manager; do you really allow your staff to behave this way? Do you truly find this acceptable? I’m sorry to say this, but the service doesn't even deserve a single star. This will be my last visit to your establishment."

Had d $6 fish set. Only got 1/3 of the fish shown at signboard. Some more fried with thick flour and basically got only 1/4 of it. Misrepresentation at its ultimate! Avoid getting this dish. It's cheating! Updates - the fish at ARC outlet was ok though.
