We had a pleasant dinner here. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is family-friendly. They provided a baby chair and baby cutlery for our two-year-old. As we arrived early and were waiting for the rest of our group, the staff also kindly provided colouring paper and colour markers for her. Although we placed a fairly large order, the food arrived without a long wait. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods are good and met our expectations. Our daughter particularly enjoyed the grilled chicken rice. Overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience with good food and helpful staff.

Great food, but walk-ins feel like an afterthought Visited Eminami on Kandahar Street and left with a mix of great flavors and a bit of frustration regarding the dining experience. 🍲 The Good: Authentic Vibes & Flavors Delicious & Authentic: The Vietnamese food here is the real deal. If you are craving genuine, rich Vietnamese flavors in Singapore, this spot completely delivers. However, certain ingredients are not fresh like the vegetables and the portion for kids are for pre-school which wasn’t explain since it’s a digital do it yourself service. Lovely Ambiance: You can tell a lot of thought and effort went into the decor. The environment is charming, clean, and beautifully set up. 📱 The Catch: Online Focus & The "Service" Fee Walk-ins Take a Backseat: The vibe inside makes it clear that the shop's priority is fulfilling online and delivery orders rather than hosting walk-in guests. You definitely get the sense that dine-in customers are secondary. Total Self-Service: Because the focus is elsewhere, the entire process is on you. You have to figure out the digital ordering and payment system yourself at the table with minimal guidance. The Irony: Despite the distinct lack of actual table service and the heavy DIY setup, a service fee is still tacked onto the final bill. Charging a premium for service when the customer does the work—and online orders take priority—feels a bit cheeky. This includes serving a dish to the wrong table and serving the same plate back. Final Verdict: Come for the fantastic food and beautiful setup, but be prepared to feel like a secondary priority while paying a full-service price tag.

I read mixed reviews of the beef pho and therefore decided to try the beef stew with noodles instead. I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was! The stew was really thick and flavorful. There was such a generous portion of beef chunks, radish and carrots that I had to press my spoon into the bowl really hard to get some broth. If you prefer something a bit more hearty, this is probably a better choice than the pho. (I only remembered to take a photo after stirring the noodles, so it doesn’t look very appetizing!) The prawn spring roll was not bad, though bits of the rice paper were too tough that it tasted like plastic. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes!

Amazing food and service! The skewers and spring rolls were tasty. When my mother spilled her tea, staff showed up within seconds with a mop to help clean. He even gave her a replacement cup. Will definitely recommend to people who visit the Sultan Mosque area.
