I had the opportunity to dine at this establishment and I would like to share my honest review. The service at this restaurant unfortunately fell short of expectations. The food service was quite slow, causing delays in receiving our orders. The waiter appeared to lack experience in serving customers, which was evident in their approach. It would be beneficial for them to receive more training to enhance their skills. One disappointing aspect was when we inquired about the Soup of the day. The waiter seemed unsure and had to check, but returned without providing any information about the soup and proceeded to serve it without informing us. This lack of communication was disappointing. Furthermore, there were inconsistencies with the steak orders. The NZ Tenderloin, which was requested to be cooked medium rare, arrived rare instead. The Ribeye Steak, also ordered medium rare, had an excessive pool of blood, which was unappetizing and took away from the overall dining experience. To make matters worse, our waiter repeatedly mixed up and got our orders wrong. This led to constant reminders and requests for our correct orders, which added unnecessary frustration to the dining experience. Overall, it is regrettable to say that our experience at this restaurant was not pleasant. The issues with slow service, inexperienced waitstaff, lack of communication, and incorrect orders made it challenging to enjoy our meal fully. Improvement in these areas would greatly enhance the overall dining experience for patrons.

It was pretty quiet when we dined there considering that it was lunch time and we were the only table. Service was prompt and we didn't have to wait very long before our food was served. We were generally pleased with the food. After all you can't get too wrong with chicken chops and blanched vegetables. Ribeye was slightly to the tough side and felt that it could be better served with sauce on the side rather than over it. As usual, the baked potato was my favourite, served generously with sour cream and bacon bits. Frankly, I'm here more for their baked potato than anything else lol If you need a quick quiet lunch, this may just be the place, no long queues and parking is also easy.

Unfortunate to hear service crew "Wan" at Eatzi Safra Yishun repeatedly rejected customer and said big group is coming and will be long waiting time. Weren't welcome and was asked to leave contact. Disappointed but children decided to stay and prepare to wait. Finally get accepted and get seated as we felt that it is still early. We should be in time to submit order before big group arrived. Fortune enough we were served super quick within 15mins after ordering. Until we finished the meal and spend $75, take a look at the photo how fill up is the Bistro. Another challenge of labor shortages issue?

The steak was nicely made. I feel better than Jack's place. However the festive season lunch set option was kind of disappointed as heard of value for $$$ lunch set and hence we pop over.

Service was good. Friendly staff. Food was a hit and miss. My partner had the tenderloin with bacon and truffle butter and he loved it. I had the weekday promo ribeye which I thought was abit hard and dry although I requested for medium doneness. We ordered drinks and although no straws were given which is understandable, I think it’s quite unacceptable to drink directly from the glass which smells of the dishwasher. Cleanliness of the place like the orange glass panels could be better considering it was a quiet night and for the price we pay for.

When the customer service is excellent, the food will taste great too! The staff and restaurant manager at this branch are always friendly & attentive. Happy to be back for the Tenderloin Fest, we ordered the roasted tenderloin tail with garlic and rosemary, perfect for 2! And an additional baked potato because it’s so good! Our tenderloin came just the way we asked for it Medium Rare & the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. Great job to the chefs! We’re fans of oysters and we enjoy the taste of the brine, but not everyone enjoys that taste! So perhaps that’s why the crew washed it down too cleanly. Overall, our dinner was great. Thank you to restaurant manager, Doris, for taking good care of us! See you again!

I brought my family here on a Tuesday afternoon. Love the chill vibe and music. Portions are good. My wife's and my steaks were a tad overcooked, but overall, they were still good. The baked potato definitely helped lift the dish. My kids' fish and chips was a good serving size with great taste. The fried rice with baked chicken was also good. Drink options could be better, especially if they offered the zero option. Definitely would come back here.

I had been here for quite a few times for lunch as I work nearby. Today I brought my parents along for dinner and I had a very bad experience tonight! Firstly, before we order, the staffs were chit chatting and we waited a while for them but they did not notice us waving. I have to call out to get their attention. Secondly, my bill is not say very expensive but I believe still many people would not go for spend a cost $98.96 for 4 pax dinner. My orders include this triple grill and the Aglio olio pasta comes with chilli which we do not know the pasta come with chilli, so I asked the staff to change but this guy called Wan insisted not to change, the pasta is so little, is it very costly to just replace it? I did not even ask to replace the meat but it’s the pasta only. You know what this staff said? He said it has been served and we cannot change it to throw it away. So now we could not eat it and we have to waste it. Can’t he just wash away the chilli and cook it with garlic? Very bad attitude for this staff not to change it. The food standard dropped a little compared to the last time I came around a few months ago and including this staff Wan did not even bother to apologise just spoil our dinner. I shall never come back to this restaurant again. Such a disappointment and wasted my money and time to go to this place!

Redeemed food voucher for the fish & chips meal, but it's really bad. Fries portion was pathetic and it's cold and dry, fish was ok. The so called strawberry gelato was nothing like gelato, just walls ice cream tub. Disappointing and wasted calories, will not visit again.

Went to have a nice father n daughter lunch.. place was quiet but clean. Food was good but the servers should take the time to introduce the specials n set meals available. Overall a good place to go for a reasonable meal with good ambiance

Steak is tender and tasty. One of the better ones i had under the JP brand. However Hotplate isn't sizzling hot and Sevice seems lacking, can see short of staff during peak lunch hours.

First time here for lunch, with meal vouchers by insurance agent. Steak still had the 'meaty' smell. Asked for straw for my toddler, but was informed no straw as they're going green. Yes understood, but how will my toddler drink from the cup? Nevertheless, another service staff (male/malay) kindly brought us straw and explained their efforts to go green. Kudos to him!

I did a take out. The place was having queue on a Monday evening. The people were waiting to be seated. Overall, food is delicious. The fish and chip main course genuinely contains more fish than flour.

Waited 45 minutes for order to be taken. After order taken, waited another 30 minutes for the food to be served. Food was not fantastic. Just reconsider your options if you plan coming here. Terrible Service yet still charge you 10% service charge. The only happy person is the owner of this business. Never coming here again.
