Visited this stall for the first time and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience.
While selecting ingredients, the auntie in the picture approached us and accused us of damaging the skin of a hard-boiled egg. We did not do so, and we clearly informed her that the egg was already in that condition when we picked it up. Despite this, she continued insisting that we were responsible.
Only after we firmly denied the allegation did she dismiss the matter with a rude "never mind." If the egg was not damaged by us in the first place, such an accusation should never have been made.
What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that she appeared to be closely monitoring us while we were selecting ingredients and immediately raised her voice the moment we picked up the egg. The whole interaction felt unfair and unprofessional.
As a result, we decided not to patronise the stall and left without making a purchase.
A word of advice to the business operator: integrity and honesty are fundamental in customer service. Making accusations without evidence and then brushing them aside when challenged reflects poorly on the business. It is disappointing to encounter such conduct from someone serving customers.

I ordered the 5 pieces plus white rice for $5, paid with CDC vouchers. Very satisfying meal and not to mention great service from the staff who knows how to separate the fried ones from the normal piece, something that many other yong tau foo stalls no longer do anymore, thumbs up 👍

Nice. Like the fried stuff auto separately served, without asking the customer. Laksa was v nice too, goes well with the rice. Will return.

I had the standard set — 6 pieces of yong tau foo for $5. Each additional piece costs $0.80, and adding noodles or rice is just $1 more.
The soup was rich and flavourful, the kind that warms you up instantly. The yong tau foo pieces were freshly fried, nicely golden, and of a generous size. The filling was meaty, juicy, and well-seasoned — clearly made with care rather than the usual factory-made paste.
The accompanying sweet and chilli sauces complemented the dish perfectly.
Overall, a satisfying and hearty meal — definitely a 5-star experience!
