Best halal yong tau foo in Singapore!! The selection is always good, always has my favourites. The laksa is consistently yummy and the process to order is not difficult. Cheap and good 👍🏻 Must try

I had the unfortunate experience of dropping by while the nice lady was not around, and the stall was instead manned by a middle-aged uncle with an unchecked attitude. While I was second-in-line waiting for my food, another customer decided to stand with her acquaintance (who was right in front of me) after placing her order. Once her acquaintance left, she pulled out a tray, and soon after he placed my bowl onto her tray. She then proceeded to add an excessive amount of spring onions without looking, before realising that the order wasn’t hers. The uncle then started to repeatedly accuse me of not queueing properly because I was supposedly “busy fiddling with my phone”. Like… Excuse me…? She just passed him her bowl of uncooked ingredients and he placed my soup onto her tray shortly after? And the lady did not bother checking either? I was not even making a scene... But he was quick to pin the blame on me? Another staff member offered to remake my order, which I politely declined (let’s not waste food, but let’s not waste my energy to drop by again to endure a grown man’s attitude too yea?) I’m just here for yong tau foo, not an extra serving of unpleasantness. Hope the uncle can endeavour to become a better staff… and perhaps a better person too!

Overall is decent, but male staff definitely have attitude and math issue. Acting like a gangster when confronted about calculating the food items wrongly. Not sure how is 1 + 7 is 9 items? Only recommend to buy from the shop when the 2 ladies is around and avoid when the guy is in

Dou Yong Tau Foo (YTF) is situated between Kim San Leng and Zheng Yuan Tea House, next to Kim San Leng. I'm unsure which coffee shop they belong to, so I always buy takeaway. Their staff have been courteous and helpful so far — probably because I went at the right time of day. There is a wide variety of YTF pieces and vegetables to choose from. I always buy non-fried items for a healthier option. The prices are quite reasonable too, and the food tastes good.

Today the usual Malaysian lady not around. Got served by one foreign lady and uncle. Bitter gourd not cooked enough and my noodle clump like dough. The cashier is mute and rude cos walked away when I show cdc and shop back proof of payment. Didn’t even offer to let us put sauce or spring onions for dry take away. Soup also off taste. Very turn off, will patronised when I see the usual lady.
