I always come here to eat Tom Yum YTF, especially loving the meat paste YTFs and how they will separate the fried stuff from the boiled ones. Their laksa is really great too! My favourite YTF stall next to Bainian

In all of Singapore, this is the best mala I have found. Also, it’s not too expensive. Also, it’s halal certified. Good selection of yong tau foo items. Can have choice of different noodles or rice or extra item. Fast service as well. They have another outlet in Woodlands.

Customer beware and DOUBLE check your order for takeaway. We had 3 ingredients (out of 7) missing, I suspect it was because they fried it but didn’t put it in our carrier when they passed it to us. They also never told us to wait. We didn’t know and only realized it at home. So disappointed. Update: Definitely same sentiment to the other reviewer.

have always enjoyed the mala YTF here, not towards the spicy side but always give me the enough numbness i want to satisfy myself. However, usually when i order things such as cheeseball/seaweed chicken, the chef would always deep fry it for me even for tat one item. Thus, i tot it was supposed to be like that. However, today when i ordered just one cheeseball, hoping that it would be deepfried, i was notified that it was already placed inside the soup and the chef said " just one item only, we dont fry" like wth? is there no standardisation or whatsoever?

The night shift guy got attitude problem. No customer service at all. Bowls were dirty and we requested for a clean one. When we inform him. He just say to wait or can go other place to eat. Will avoid this place

Similar like other DOU outlet. Only this one so far abit salty the soup but otherwise, the standard remains. But besides the tasty product, i was amazed by the staffs of the outlet @ woodlands. They actually absorbed the payment of one of feeble looking customer. The lady actually asked me to buy for her a meal. I gladly welcomed it. But to my astonishment, the outlet paid for her. I mean i wont mind paying for her but the young malay man amicably declined including the cost into mine. Respect. It’s a a noble act of humanitarian selflessness that is slowly depleting in our current time. What a wonder start to the year! Congrats Dou!

After they rebranded to Dou, I have experienced receiving wrong orders on 3 separate occasions. Previously the staff would use colored clips to mark what your order was. ZERO wrong orders. Unfortunately this is no longer the practice and the new staff, the one taking the orders isn’t a good listener. Before I could even mention what soup I want he turned away from me and starts cooking. WRONG! I hope he can improve his listening skills or bring back the new old staff!

The Malay boy charged me full price for the laksa.. But my ingredients missing! The crab stick that I chose just disappeared from the bowl... And I told him to fry all but it turned out boiled..

Poor customer service. The cook was super rude. No idea what he was mumbling so when I asked him to repeat himself, he started shouting and slamming things on the table. Wouldn’t recommend to come here at all even if it’s open at late hours. I came at 8pm, imagine if you were being serve at odd hours. Would you be happy ? Don’t think so.

For 24 Hrs in the North in Woodland. I love it. Especially wee hours. The variety was widespread and fresh. The overall taste of soup was good. The laska a bit dilute. Otherwise, all go to go.

Dou Yong Tau Fu. 5.80 for 5 items + noodlrs/rice if you opt for laksa curry or tomyam. Tried both, taste nice!

Food can be much nicer if the staff had a bit of patience. The fried stuff were not cut up into smaller bite size pieces. Especially the king oyster mushroom which made it almost impossible to eat. The fried stuff are way too oily also since the staff does not care to drain the oil properly before serving. And the yellow noddles in laksa is too big portion until it soaks up all the soup. With a better attitude of staff, it can easily get 5 stars. But until then, wont come again.
