Went twice. Unfortunately, both times I encountered the same foreign girl at the cashier, and the experiences was bad. She was rude and seemed to have a really bad attitude towards customers. She expected us to understand her slang Mandarin and know the procedure for putting food tong back, as if we were working there. When we genuinely can’t hear or understand what she said & politely asked her to repeat, she repeated it with an irritated tone, as if we were at fault for not understanding her. Although the foods are not bad but because of this experience, I won’t be patronising the stall again while she is still working there.

I have always love Dou YTF but the customer service at Tampines outlet was so bad that I would rather travel to other outlets to eat. The staffs were throwing bowls at customers and getting angry when we are just asking for a bag to put the chilli (it happened to the people in front of me and myself). Like if you dont want us to do it or ask for it then maybe the staffs should already just packed it beforehand?

Love both flavourful soup broth and laksa broth. Been having it as takeaway once to twice a week for past few months. Fried food are freshly refried each order and soup separately packed. The size of each item is pretty value for money too.

Second day eating this straight. The fish paste in the taupok are all packed to the brim and makes every bite satisfying. The fried ones are delicious, the broth is delicious, even the chilli is delicious! Amazing.

Dou Yong Tau Foo outlet at Tampines provides an average experience for the hungry diner. Unlike some other outlets, the food trays here are actually clean. For those familiar with Dou yong tau foo, this is a 24 hr franchise selling above average halal yong tau foo. This outlet proves to be no exception. A relative safe bet to get your yong tau foo fix.
