Was at the shop buying some bread, 3 staffs was there, two of them, around the age of 50++, openly talking about their experiences on some of their colleges and customers, loudly and with some "not so nice" worlds. When I asking about is one one their products still available, one of them just answers : "Of course don't have already lah" in a bad manner. To the management : is your staff the way your front line staff should behave?

Hi DJ Bakery, We just bought a birthday cake for an elderly using CDC voucher $35.80. Due to your staff chatting among themselves, she had scanned a $5 voucher, yet later on, she claimed the $5 voucher is not useable. Now we paid $40.80! This is totally unacceptable and is that a tactic DJ Bakery use to scam for voucher?

This is not the first time i saw mold on their pandan cake and pastry. Do check carefully before you purchase, especially elderly with unclear eyesight. 1st time i purchased the tuna roll at 11am, thinking should be fresh, but it tasted sour, i brought back for an exchange and they allowed. 2nd time I purchased 1 whole round of pandan cake, i saw dots of black, i tried convincing myself it may be some dirt or residue from bake but after taking pic of them and zooming in, indeed was mold. I went back asking for an exchange, the staff went through a few cakes, unable to find any satisfactory one on the display shelf, meaning the cakes were starting to have molds. Seeing this i do not want any of the pandan cake anymore and i requested for other items. After a long time, i decided to give them a chance to buy from them again, when i got hime, to my horror, the pastry also develop green dots. I have been patronizing them since i was young, but these bad experiences greatly disappoint me. I think I won't be going back anymore

I saw 2 new faces there helping at the store. Let's call them A & B. A was sweeping the floor and B entered the scene after A attempted to attract B's attention to "complain" about me who was leading my bicycle close to the narrow walkway at the bread display area. I wanted to do a quick "ride and go" and so I asked for A's permission and promised I would be quick. After my purchase was done, I said thanks to A. As I was leading my bike out, B curiously asked A why she was standing at one corner outside their bread display area. Then A started her story about "her telling me to park my bicycle outside their area and that I apparently appeared so awkward when reversing my bike out. The small chat was done secs after I appeared to have gone when in fact I was still there slowly leaving the place but hidden from A's view though. As B could clearly see me when I was very close to her, I questioned her directly if they were gossiping about me and my bicycle. I couldn't imagine how "distressing" it was to A that she must complain about me almost immediately when she thought I had left. What was it that the 2 staff expected from a customer who had already asked for permission and showed appreciation later for the quick temporary parking? It was already 9sth at night and the shop was about to close and few people were there. I don't know about B but I am fascinated to know A's motivation to air her unhappiness to B when she was still doing her cleaning duty. I honestly didn't feel good over this incident and I don't have a good impression with people who are too free to make small things hard for others by gossiping over small stuff while they should finish their job first and manage their thinking better. There is definitely a better place and way to find your sense of importance, Ms A. Sorry I have to give a below average rating coz it's something I want to highlight to this bakery I often buy my bread from. Rating not meant for other staff I usually see there.

I bought a cake from you that was already moldy. There was no date on it, and it was moldy by the afternoon I bought it. I don't know how you do business; are you trying to cause food poisoning?
