IIn a weekday evening about 6pm, tried the highly recommended Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang, a Michelin-recognized halal stall with a location right at Admiralty MRT. Location: #02-05 Cantine Foodcourt, Admiralty Place (678A Woodlands Ave 6). It's an Indonesian-style drumstick set, I chose #1 on the stall displayed option ·Price: More than $8 1) highly over rated in the reviews 2) doesn't taste fresh. The set was not hot but cold, the rice taste a little unfresh coconut ie taste a bit stale. The chicken drumstick is hard and tasteless ie seasoning not good, meat not fresh. 3) shortage of ingredients Ie no ikan billies, very little peanuts, no cucumber 4) only the chili paste or gravy taste good 5) very disappointed, either the standard dropped in it's peak dinner time? Wonder how it gets the Michelin? 6) Doent match the price, there are many Nasi Lemsk stalls outside that taste better with such or lower price tag..

Had western food at Makan West (new stall). Pleasantly surprised by quality. I had pasta with dory while my husband had the fish n chips. They are flexible in that you can choose your choice of carbs - either fries, rice, pasta and for pasta, you can choose if you wish to have it in tomato sauce, aglio olio or cream sauce. My dory was nicely breaded, altho a tad salty, while the pasta portion was generous, but also a tad salty. I promptly gave feedback to the chef about the salt and he was gracious about it.

Subject: Formal Grievance: Gross Misconduct and Sabotage by Service Staff – Kopitiam @ CGH To the Management of Kopitiam, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the appalling service and unprofessional conduct I encountered this morning, 3 March 2026, at approximately 10:00 am at your Changi General Hospital outlet. Upon receiving my coffee, I politely requested a small addition of condensed milk to adjust the sweetness. The staff member in charge (an Indian male behind the counter) displayed a blatant lack of basic service competency. He repeatedly ignored my specific request—first attempting to dilute the drink with hot water, and then incorrectly adding evaporated milk despite my clear instructions. When I corrected him, he became visibly hostile and dismissive, arrogantly directing me to a sugar station instead of fulfilling a simple service request. After I insisted, he deliberately sabotaged my drink by pouring an excessive, undrinkable amount of condensed milk into the cup—an act of clear spite and unprofessionalism. To escalate matters, he initially refused to rectify his mistake and told me to "go away." While he eventually provided a replacement after my continued insistence, his initial refusal and retaliatory behavior are entirely unacceptable for a frontline staff member. I expect Kopitiam to maintain a certain standard of decorum; however, this individual’s character is a liability to your brand. I trust you will take immediate disciplinary action to ensure such insolence is not repeated.

Tried the salted egg rice for $8.30, but was deeply disappointed. The chicken was not home made and was substituted with frozen popcorn chicken. The chicken ended up being soggy and mushy in the salted egg sauce. For the price, would have expected them to make their own fried chicken, but unfortunately it was not the case. The taste of the sauce was okay, but doesn’t really have a kick to it

I ordered mutton fried Kway Teow at the Indian stall. They didn't give me a receipt or buzzer until I asked for one. Waited for 20mins, food still wasn't ready. Had to ask and stand in front of the stall for them to start cooking my order. Lucky asked for the receipt earlier, after another 10mins, they prepared the wrong dish- chicken instead of mutton. Stall seemed more focused on fulfilling delivery orders than serving dine-in customers. After some shouting I cancelled my order and got a refund. It's OK bcos food looked plain n not very appealing anyway.
