We don’t like to waste food as a family as a rule. But the last photo shows what we left behind. Chicken and mutton were dry and stringy, rice was heavily spiced but unseasoned. The kebab was so dry, it honestly tasted liked it was reheated in a microwave from yesterday. Same for the cauliflower… it was like baby food, reheated from a previous batch. Raita has the consistency of tap water. But of course you should give it a try at least once … just to see what Michelin guides are worth. $150 ? No.

Not very cinsistent with the flavour; the biryani is good on some days and a miss on other days. Pricing is a bit on the expensive side, esp for mutton/lamb items. Staff def needs to be retrained on dealing with customers as they don't look and behave as welcoming. Took about 25 mins for them to serve biryani.

We visited Bismillah Briyani because of its reputation, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. The staff were rude and unfriendly, which made us feel unwelcome throughout the visit. The briyani itself was good, but it didn't come with curry. The raita tasted spoiled and was quite unpleasant. We accidentally ordered the Brain Masala instead of the brinjal curry, and that too tasted spoiled. Dining in was also very stuffy with no air conditioning at all, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. I hope they improve their customer service, food quality, and dining environment to match the reputation of their briyani.

We bought both take away and dine in meals at Shenton Way branch. The lady who was serving was very rude as she assumed we had selected dine in for take away meals which was false . We checked our receipts and confirmed that we had placed our orders correctly. For dine in , I have chosen mango lassi as the beverage option. She said usually for value set, mango lassi is an additional option and not part of the value set. I showed her the receipt and she replied ok. As we were the minority there at that time, we felt disgusted by her unnecessary remarks! Very disappointing indeed!
