Awful taste of food and service. We waited almost 50 minutes to get all of our food; however, the place was not busy at all. The food was oily and lacked flavor. The Pad Thai was overall bad, and the Nasi Goreng was oily …. Once again, the food had absolutely NO flavor. Also the tap water was 50 cents per cup …. OMG In summary, terrible food and lousy service. The place should be closed down by the management franchise

Went on a Saturday evening 7pm, it was not crowded and we got a nice place to sit. Ordered a platter, Tom yam soup, basic chicken rice and Thai tea. The food was served quick and hot. This is the one of the few restaurants allows you to choose spiciness, seafood shell preferences, ice preferences etc. overall a great experience.

Average experience, the waiters (service) was pretty good. We ordered three dishes - the chicken cashew nuts (with extra cashew nuts) was the winner. The curry was average and the kangkung was tasteless (don’t get the garlic, get the sambal belachan one, as a tip). generally not full and can get seats. The menu was available online.

Visited for the first time this evening for dinner and i give it a 4 star because majority of the food was amazing. Only issue i would really talk about was the portion size:( Was not filling despite trying a few stuff.. Service was great though! Got to our seats fast and food came pretty fast! Thai Iced tea - Nice and sweet. although a little too sweet for me personally even with less sugar Seafood Tom Yum Soup - Amazing, tasted good, warming to the stomach and also had the perfect amount of heat. The soup itself looked amazing too. The seafood in the soup was delicious as well i strongly strongly recommend. One of the best i've had. XO Fried rice - Amazing, taste as good as it looks as well. Only issue i would say is the portion size because it wasnt really filling at all. Could probably eat two or three plates Nasi Goreng Buah Keluak Set: The chicken was good, the rice and the sauce was okay but i cant comment much because the flavour was new to me. I had an indonesian friend with me and she found the taste a little weird too. I also think paying $15.90 for the set is not worth it because it's literally so small. again, i could eat 2 plates or maybe even 3... Chendol Dessert was Yummy^-^ favourite. Overall still a pleasant experience, good service and yummy food. main issue is the portion sizes thats all:) Edit: The picture is from my 2nd visit, its the tom yum soup for 2-4 pax

Bali Thai is an upscale Thai restaurant with normal Thai food like the Tom yum soup and pad Thai. However, food is a bit disappointed with that price. The seafood platter doesn’t have enough seasoning and not worth the price, the Tom Yum also not enough herbs in it. There is room for improvement for the quality of food.

Such a lovely dining area. I absolutely loved the decor and how clean everything looked. Food was beautiful, full of flavour. Menu was full of lovely items we found it very hard to pick!! We got mixed shared starter which was so lovely. Mains we got nasi goreng and fried rice which were both 5/5. Service was good. Drinks were lovely. Would deffo recommend to visit.

Dined with my partner after working hours on Friday. Waited 5 mins in line and was ushered to our table. Ordered 2 mains, Tom Yum Soup with Glass Noodle and Nasi Goreng Special and 1 side, Hotplate Seafood Beancurd. Overall food was good, drink was a lil too sweet for my liking.

Vegetarian choices was good and the portion was adequate. Just be mindful of having too much oil on the Jungle Thai Curry. Thank you. By the way, chaging 50 cents for Singapore water is like dampening the whole dining experience. Add them into your food cost and serve Singapore water for free.

Front end staff are ok. Apologetic and helpful. The kitchen staff just need to quit if they are not interested in working. Ordered 2 plates of same noodle meal...1 plate had a lot less than the other. When sent back to kitchen, they just reshuffled the contents. Happened to another 2 plates of same rice meal...1 plate had a lot less than the other. Seriously? You want to create a fight at my dinner table? Where is your kitchen quality control? And the meal tho not luxurious it's not cheap either.

"Just what is not nice at Bali Thai?!" is my reaction to my friend after tasting every food and drink item we had ordered. After looking at some of the recent reviews in this outlet, many of which are very brief and feature weak scores which contrasted with my experience there, I've decided to write a more-detailed-than-usual review. We ordered 2 Unbelievable Value Meals which each came with a main course, Tom Yum Soup with Prawns and a beverage. We added a set of Thai Fish Cake (2 pcs) as well. Food:5 XO Fried noodle: 4.5/5 - the noodles were flavored just right, with a flavor that can be considered as XO, but is not too overpowering unlike some XO dishes out there. There's some chicken iirc, but the vegetables were a bit much, and featured veg like red capsicums, which not everyone one will like. Good for me tho, since I like eating vegetables, but for people who don't eat vegetables, you might want to avoid this dish. Basil chicken rice - Tasted the meat a little since this is my friend's dish. Basil chicken is very well-flavored, and one of the better ones I've eaten, but I'm not sure what the eating experience is like from start to finish so I won't comment further. But very open to order it in future if I drop by. Tom Yum Soup With Prawns: 5/5 - One of the best tom yum soups I've had, it's really good, and has lots of ingredients, including 3 mid-sized deshelled prawns which tasted fresh, and that really surprised me, because it was a small bowl that came along with the set meal I ordered. Thai Fish cakes: 4/5 - Let me preface this as I usually don't like the flavor of Thai fish cakes because of their fillings but for the one I ate, I didn't have a sense of aversion, no, I even felt that it was delectable. I would give the main fish cake part 4.8/5, that's how good it is. Calamansi drink: 4/5 - The drink was refreshing and serves as a good balance to the flavorful food we had. Service: 5/5 - Food came pretty fast and servers were efficient and friendly even though the restaurant was quite filled. Nothing to nitpick about. Atmosphere: 5/5 - Nice ambience and decor, I liked how the lights were dimmed in some places while brightly-lit at some others, it adds to the ambience. It was pretty quiet so it is easy to have a conversation with my friend. One cons is that the prices are usually a bit higher than the average Thai eatery, but the food quality, service and atmosphere more than make up for it. The set meals we had which were available from Monday to Friday made this meal very worth it (we went on a Friday night). I'll end this review saying that I reviewed this after having gone to many Thai eateries over the years, and I haven't been to Bali Thai in years because after all, I'm not that much a fan of Thai food. But overall, Bali Thai was, and still is, the best Thai eatery I have been to (including non-franchises).

I used to like their thai food at imm and find their food is nice. But this branch is absolutely disappointing and the food is so bad that i didnt finish my food. Pardon me but i havent had a white fungus tom yum clear soup before though and i indicated mild spicy but it was super spicy. Also the green curry is very bland ( I can cook better with supermarket paste). I also cannot understand why the staff keep wanting to clear my plates especially i still have food on the table. Expensive and bad food. Please go somewhere else.

Food is great and very attentive service by the lovely ladies on floor operations. The gentleman who we believe is one of the superiors is accomodating and very polite as well. Thank you team for the complimentary thai milk tea and encourage us to sign up for membership! Will dine again soon! Kudos!

The decor is nice and the outlet was not crowed despite peak hour. Food was salty. Service is not up to standard 🙄 I should walk around as there were many restaurants.

Enjoyed the food here, all the dishes here are on point. Tom yum seafood soup was quite spicy and light, portion is very generous. Omelette and tahu goreng compliments well with the vegetarian fried rice. Will dine here again.
