The Mee Rebus and Mee Soto that me n my wife ordered respectively taste good. It's cheap at only $3.50 each. I don't think we can find at that price anymore at most shops.

Let me start with this info, this shop replaced an all time fav shop and boy this replacement is not up to par, in fact it's a major let down. Now, here's the deal, we were met with 2 staff who were not at all friendly. We ordered "1 Nasi Rawan and 1 Nasi Sambal Goreng makan" and waited in line. Seeing as others were served in a paper bowl etc, we assumed that all was served in paper / throwaway containers. Another staff came to the cash register to ring us up, looked at us and ask "you eating here"? We said yes and she turned to the other lady and said "they eating here lah" . In the same breath she then turned to us and said, not ask "Why never say you eat here" . I reply rather curtly, I did say makan and we are holding on to your metal cutlery right? She just smile and returned us $0.40 for the takeaway box lah I guess. Anyways, about the food, Bland and meh is the best way to describe it. In fact, it's sort of tasteless. Huge dissappoinent to a point of not knowing how to describe it even. 2 star only because she returned us the money. Other then that it was just not a place to head out and search for if you want authentic Malay set meals. Service : 2 / 5 Food : 1 / 5 Others : eerrrrr

Huge portion of $4.70 laksa with generous fillings like fishcake & chicken. Recommended.

This would be my last time patronising this stall. Frankly speaking i like their nasi lemak especially the sambal but with a bad attitude staff serving me,i will forgo this stall. Definitely with this type of staff,(the makcik with specs),you will lost your customers in no time. Seriously spoiled my mood early morning! I prefer the previous Chai Chee Nasi Lemak stall, the boss himself is friendly. That's the way to do business & treat your customers.

Not bagus at all. Tried this mee siam because I was craving for it and my favourite muslim shop shifted to another location, and it was bad. The soup/gravy for the mee siam tasted like plain water. See the picture! The sauces were not properly mixed. The bee hoon was bland. If this is the standard I am expecting, I’m not visiting anymore.

Had their lontong 2x, shiooo gooood! Big service, price only $4; Where else can you get this kind of all-in-one deal? Imho, people shouldn’t be too harsh with service in hawker, they are selling food not experience nor services😎

Have patronise this stall whenever I craved for the rendang. don't know whether the stall owners had change or not but the rendang now is not so consistent in its spicyness-more spicy than previously and not very "rendang" like. The meat are cut into smaller pieces but has more tendons. I asked for "telur" - eggs but the guy scoop chili brinjal instead. Worse, it's only two pieces. I said I will pay via Paylah, and he kept asking me paynow or paylah.... Just three dishes - rendang, that two pieces of brinjal and potato (begedil) cost me $5.20. I assume 20 cents for the box which cannot be reused. Will try other Malay stalls in the estate next time.

Came for nasi sambal goreng but it is not ready at 9.40am. Nasi Lemak Fish is overfried, and the fish are very oily. Their food used to be good, but their standard drop. Not coming back for the plate of oily fried fish for $4.50.

13th November. Ordered nasi sambal goreng, for breakfast, from the hougang outlet. The sambal goreng was so salty! Had to throw it away. The chicken batter is so hard and horrible. The standard seems to have dropped, these few weeks. Not sure what is happening, but im so sorry, im not ordering from them again.
