Went to Andes by Astons for dinner with the family on Saturday night. Didn’t reserve and didn’t wait long since we went for an early dinner. Although after ordering they the QR code, the drinks came very early but the wait for the food took a long time till the point my toddler son needs to have a snack as he was very hungry already. Overall when food came, was slightly cold. Its nice but would have been nicer if its warmer. Ordered grilled chicken, steak and fish but only the chicken and beef came together while the fish came after 5 more mins. Taste is ok. Overall the atmosphere is good.

Very disappointed with our Foodpanda order from Andes. We spent almost $100 expecting better quality food, especially from a restaurant that positions itself as a more premium western dining option, but the overall experience was really underwhelming. The Spaghetti Carbonara was bland and the sauce had a chunky texture that did not taste fresh or creamy. The Beef Bolognese was also very bland and unexpectedly sweet, lacking the rich savoury flavour that you would normally expect. The Black Pepper Fish was dry, overcooked, and the portion was surprisingly small for the price paid. Even the fried chicken set came with missing sides, which made the meal feel incomplete and careless on the restaurant’s part. Overall, the food quality and taste did not match the pricing at all. Honestly, it felt more like eating average coffee shop western food rather than ordering from a higher-end restaurant. For the amount spent, we expected much better flavour, quality, consistency, and portion size. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience and definitely not worth close to $100.

Visited this branch on 23 April at around 2:20pm. I ordered an iced chocolate, but when it arrived, it was warm and almost hot, not what I expected. When I raised this with the staff (I believe her name was Hadirah), she sighed and said there was ice on top. I understand there was ice, but I’ve ordered this drink multiple times before and it has always been served cold. I even asked her to feel the drink, but she repeated that there was already ice. She took the drink back, and shortly after, a male staff member approached me and asked if I would be okay with having a separate cup of ice instead. At that point, it felt quite unreasonable. I explained again that I’ve had this drink many times and it has always been properly cold. They eventually prepared a new drink, which was finally at the correct temperature something that could have been done from the start. To the management team, I hope you can review the team’s customer service and problem-solving approach. In particular, the staff member who initially served me came across as disengaged and unwilling to assist from the beginning. During a previous visit a few years ago, we even found an opened packet of chilli sauce in our mushroom soup bowl. Despite that experience, I decided to give this place another chance after some time. However, after this recent incident, I won’t be returning again.
