Visited this place. Not big but cosy. Only upset is there is no air-conditioning. So it's a little warm Service was alright.. u order pay sit down and wait. Waffle comes warm and crispy with fresh fruit. The berries was sweet and so was the peaches and banana.

portion is pretty generous! the milkshake is super thick and creamy ~ just a feedback, the lasagne is slightly doughy! pasta is great but needs to be more richer! the service was great though, it would be nicer if we can order from the seat! but other than that, great experience. place needed more ventilatilation / aircon, but that could just be the mall's location issue! overall, recommend!

friendly staff is serving. vanilla ice cream was tasty and waffle was a bit crispy.my kids enjoyed. this shop is very small and limited sheets. that is a bad point

The portion was very generous. I only have my friend's banana split sundae photo, I ordered a Royal choc which I regret not taking a pic because the chocolate chips was a lot! Really worth the money. The cashier/server Taq (sorry, didn't catch the full spelling, I only linked it with Taufiq but it's not), was very attentive to our needs and offered a bottle of water on the house because I was too full to order a cuppa. Will come back for the waffle, the next door had it and looked so good.

Topped with caramel sauce, sprinkles of biscoff biscuits and double scoop of ice-cream, it's a real lovely treat!

Not bad! I love their honey ice cream and this place is quite legendary at Northpoint for more than a decade I think. A bit pricey but once in a while spoil yourself!

After all the souffle pancakes, i still go back to gelare's good old fashioned waffles. Good waffles, nice ice cream!

Waited 50 mins for a waffle ice cream. Went to the counter to asked why is it so long. Told me to wait another 15 mins. Only serve when I said I wanted to cancel order. Undercooked waffle with 50mins wait. To be honest the one opposite them is so much better. Don’t serve waffle ice cream if you can’t make a proper cooked waffle.

Was not welcoming at all, had to wait for 55mins for the waffles to be ready and when it was served, the ice creams was all melted, didn't even looked appealing. Receipt didn't show the correct amount as well. Won't be coming back to this outlet

The Spaghetti Chicken Bolognese nearly nothing and just cheese. The teapot only could fill in for 1 and half cup. Not worth it at all.

came here with my mother on Monday. we placed our order at 7:08pm. when we entered, there were another 2 families there already having their meals. Thus, upon ordering our ice cream waffle, we should be next in line, as the other 2 families already eating their food. we waited till 7:35pm, still no waffle on our table. and at 7:35, the 2 other families already left, leaving my mom and i in the restaurant alone. another 2 ladies then came in and ordered their food, and they got their food within 10 minutes. did they forget about our food? that's impossible since we were the only ones there and we ordered face to face. so we waited for another 10 minutes, an employee came to clean the table beside us, and they didn't even notice that there was nothing on our table?! we spoke up and asked her where our waffle was, we waited about 45 minutes by then. she then went to the kitchen, took out a plate of waffles from under the chiller, and placed our ice creams on top, then served it to us. WITHOUT any apology. mind you there were 3 employees in the kitchen facing our seats, NONE of them noticed that we were sitting there with NOTHING on our tables? they clean the table beside us also never notice that our table was empty??? never coming back here again

Staff was rigid and displayed poor customer service. We were a party of 5 stuffed into a corner and sandwiched between what looked like store inventory and another table. When asked if we could switch to another seat, the staff rudely and impatiently answered that we are to sit where we were assigned. This is an establishment. To my understanding, the service crew is supposed to facilitate orders as well as ensure patrons feel comfortable to the best of their ability. This is not your home where you need to mother people and mandate where everyone should sit. If patron’s request was really not possible, perhaps also adopt a nicer tone instead of being impatient. Chose Gelare over the pancake next door because my son wanted waffles. End up waiting for 30 mins (still counting) and my waffle isn't here, when asked, the server actually rudely say he isn't the one making it, and I need to wait.. the table beside me ordered later but two of their waffles came. So annoyed. Never gonna come again. Asked the second time and was told to wait again! What attitude is that?! When it's finally here, the reason they gave, they only have one machine. And 30 mins is their standard waiting time.

Went here with my kids for a weekend makan. Surprisingly, Gelare is not just about ice creams. We had enjoyed a full meal actually, from their munchies, to pasta, and of course, the dessert. Food was served in no time, and the portions just right. Honestly, I was already full after my baked lasagna, but since we're at Gelare, I must eat ice cream :) We ordered the fruit medley which is a waffle topped with lots of cut fruits (strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and peaches) and 1 scoop of your choice of ice cream. It was sooo yummy! The ice cream is thicker and creamier, and the flavour intense. A must try! Special mention goes to Mira, for your swift service. Thank you! We had a great time!

Inflation is real. We ordered their signature waffle (see pic) no topping, just waffle and one choco ice cream, cost us $19bucks. Really expensive. Can buy a meal for this price

its pretty small inside, and service can be pretty slow - depending on the crowd. but their waffles and ice cream are really really good. everything else though (on the menu), are pretty average i reckon. they also do have a small kids menu, which is a pretty good touch. staff here have generally been very friendly and nice.
