The classic waffle with cream, maple syrup and gelato is good. Absolutely loved the rich buttery taste and texture of the waffle. Gelato was thick and creamy, as one would expect. The only downside was the half hour wait time at a relatively empty restaurant. Taste 4/5 Value 4/5 Ambience 3/5 Service 3.5/5

The waffle was fresh, warm and complemented the sweetness of the ice cream very well! A great place to pop by for some desert if you’re in the area:)

Set lunch @ 9.90 + 10% svc charge was mediocre, nothing great…wouldn’t recommend for a 2nd time. Perhaps they are good at Waffles only.

Visited this PLQ outlet a few times on weekday evenings. It's often busy but fairly easy to find seats. The staff at this outlet are friendly and helpful. Ask them anything about the menu and they will explain to you nicely. On a Tuesday evening, my friend and I shared a Banana Biscoff & Classic Waffle, with Irish Mocha ice-cream. Truthfully, biscoff don't exactly go well in this condition, but the waffles and ice-cream were fantastic. It is a expensive dessert, so it's a treat once in a while.

Disappointed. Cone was not freshly made and crumply. Ice cream was miserly small. Sorry forgot to take a shot, was melting even with just a few steps out of the door. The second scoop was much bigger except the metal scoop was not drained well. Water was mixed with the ice cream so it was dripping down the cone. Have to do better to train staff how to scoop ice cream ........

Had an ice chocolate, and the alfresco dining is really windy and calming! There would be busking going on so it’s free live music from Paya Lebar Square and yet it isn’t too loud that you can’t hear your own conversations. Yummy waffles and great for tea time or after meal dessert

If it's just waffles & ice cream you're craving for, this is the place to go. The waffles freshly made & crunchy with a wide variety of ice cream flavours to choose from. Too bad I didn't get to snap some pics that night of my visit.

Ordered total 4 ice cream, they put the cone with ice cream on a plate, lying flat, after finished scooping all then serve to customer. Come on??? All melted ice creams served. Lousy service. And the pistachio ice cream tastes awfully bad.

i love their waffles with ice cream. so many ice cream choices to choose from. they have many waffle options too. the waffle was crispy and they even have a new menu. definitely recommend this place to have a family gathering with mains and desserts

Era of Gelare is over. Ice cream is mediocre and waffle tastes like dough and soggy, plus super overpriced these days $22 for waffle + ice cream. With so many amazing independent waffle ice cream cafes in Singapore - there’s no long any reason for such mediocre and overpriced chain to exist anymore.

I recently tried Gelare's waffle and ice cream, and it was an absolute delight! The waffle was perfectly golden and crisp on the outside, with a soft and fluffy interior that complemented the rich, creamy ice cream(cookies & cream) wonderfully. Gelare is definitely a go-to place for a delightful waffle and ice cream treat.

Bought myself this simple waffle to fit my afternoon craving and left after 15 mins. I do not want to hoard the seat as these small outlets need more customer turnover or they will close down. I hope everyone here gets considerate to help these small businesses. Waffle was just nicely yummy. I do not eat sweet stuff. Staff was friendly and fast enough.
