2 plain prata selling at 2.20. Probably the cheapest I can find so far. It's fresh as in soft texture. Curry was rather quite salty. Great to go with teh halia.

Next to main road, spacious, and the Teh Halia is good. Feeling of Little India just outside of the really busy Little India. Service is good. Added Lambing soup as recommended by another reviewer- to fight off cold. And it tastes great!!!

A good place to get Indian food at a reasonable price. The plain prata was well-cooked with the right amount of crispness. The egg prata was even better, The egg in the prata was spread evenly allowing one to taste their egg in almost every bite. The teh halia was one of the best i have ever tried. The ginger taste and the tea were equally strong, making every sip fulfilling and enjoyable. The curry was a bit salty though. Service was also good with the staff being polite. They also serve the curry without placing the curry plate on the prata, which is something I appreciate.

Worst experience I bought veg briyani , if there is not much vegetables left should've told me earlier , just served me with what they've got And the briyani got too much chilli powder in it, Totally not worth for the cost , veg briyani 5.50$ Drink 2.20 $ just sugar syrup and lime with ice

If it’s value for money, get and go food place you’re looking for, this must be the perfect prata shop for you. No frills, service is not great , but price wise definitely calls for more stars. Sometimes you even need to wait to pay, that sucks, but now they even provide free wifi! Don’t think of bringing your laptop here to do work or anything just yet, the restaurant is by the road and it gets quite noisy during peak hours with all the cars passing by. Well if it is cheap teh tarik, and roti prata, this is the place for you!

One of the few late-night vegan-friendly dining options in the area. I found the masala thosai decent enough with a good portion for the price ($3.50), even if they only served me one chutney instead of two. The bee hoon goreng ($5) had a good texture and moistness to it, but I found the sos merah weirdly sweet. Would probably order it putih next time, and just pair it with my usual sambar instead. 😋

While waiting for my boy to finish his TKD lessons, I chanced upon this eating place. Ordered the creamy and fragrant tea halia with super crispy tissue prata that was both salty and sweet. Super sedap.

In my most humble opinion, one of the best thai/tom yum fried rice in Singapore.

Really nice briyani (at times, bc not always consistent). Curry is also good (at times too, bc sometimes diluted). Cutlery are often dirty too. Also, they only accept cash payment.... Note: They tend to take any opportunity to scam customers so u have to be really specific when ordering food and be extra careful during payment to prevent being overcharged. Experienced this multiple times. Also, it's common for them to "forget" to give you certain items in a dish, e.g., papadum/egg for the briyani. If unlucky, they may just conveniently say a word of "finished" and shake their head, without offering any form of replacement/compensation and proceed to charge you the usual price. Suck thumb i guess... TLDR: nice food, not the cheapest but still reasonably priced, but the prob lies w their morals, poor attitude of the older staff, and hygiene of the eatery
