It’s more 3.5 than 4. Maybe because their predecessors - Collin common grill set high benchmark. They position as affordable halal western which I think the price is standard coffeeshop pricing. The corn is quite soft. Easy to bite without having residual stuck on my teeth is a plus. The chicken chop skin is crispy which is a plus too but the meat taste quite meh. Overall, a simple neighbourhood western stall.

Ordered the chicken chop which came with crispy skin. However, that was the only highlight of the meal. The salad it came with didn't come with any dressing leaving me to dribble black pepper sauce onto the leaves. The corn was boiled til soft and the aglio olio pasta was hard! Not sure how long ago the pasta had been cooked until it hardened up.

We gave it another chance after the rebranding but el carbon/ Collins never fails to disappoint. Sour chunky mash, warm salad and refried fries as sides. As for mains we ordered fish n chips, tiny one piece with weirdly warm tartar sauce. Ate at the mala after we had a few bites and didn't finish the food from el carbon. Collins group how are you guys surviving serving such pig feed.

Very decent tasty food from the heartlands. On point seasoning for their pastas. Decided to try the salmon baked rice and the taste is on point too. Good job chefs, keep it up. P.S AMK branch serving hospital-like bland food, I thought i kena Covid.. luckily ART turns out negative.. Maybe they ran out of salt idk.

I ordered a chicken parmaesan set meal this evening, together with soup and bread top up. Bread was too burnt for my liking. Soup was very starchy and goopy. Not sure if that was intended, but I didn't like it. A good part of my pasta was uncooked, so thumbs down for that. The chicken was probably the only item that was done decently. Overall, I am disappointed in the quality of the food. Will not buy from them again.
