Never have lamb chop like this one served, it's absolutely amazing! So rich without feels of too much, I even enjoy eat the deep fried chilli on it! We also ordered noodle set menu, come with some pancake shaped doughnuts -I forgot the name- and lamb skewers. The dumplings and soup were great, I will definitely recommend this restaurant and come back with my son. The place is quite nice, they have single seating bar style like with dividers on the table, and group of 4 will enjoy meals comfortably too. The food comes quick, we can order online just scan QR code on the table, so convenient. The waitress are friendly and helpful too.

Finally tried 1915 Lanzhou Beef Noodles Halal and it definitely lived up to the hype! The menu has so much more than just beef noodles. We ordered the Pickled Cabbage Beef Noodles, Big Plate Chicken, Salt & Pepper Prawns, and Stir-fried Broccoli with Prawns. The Salt & Pepper Prawns were my favourite—super crispy, flavourful, and absolutely delicious! The Big Plate Chicken was also amazing, with tender chicken, soft potatoes, and tasty belt noodles. The beef noodles came with a generous amount of beef and weren’t too spicy. The restaurant is clean, the staff are very friendly, and the portions are great for the price, especially in the CBD. It’s also Halal, which is a big plus. Will definitely be coming back! ❤️

One of my favourite places for Lanzhou beef noodles in Melbourne! I’ve been back so many times and the quality has always been consistent. The beef broth is light but full of flavour, the beef is tender, and the hand-pulled noodles have the perfect chewy texture. This Swanston store also serves stir-fried dishes now, and the Big Plate Chicken with the hand-pulled wide noodles is definitely worth ordering. We also loved the Zhajiang Noodles and the chive & egg pan-fried dumplings. The restaurant is spacious, clean, halal, and a great spot for a meal with family or friends. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Lanzhou beef noodles! 🍜

Authentic Lanzhou beef noodle soup in the heart of Melbourne! The beef noodle soup is the real deal – broth is rich, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned without being too salty. You can tell they've simmered those bones for hours. Noodles are hand-pulled fresh on the spot – you can literally watch the chefs work their magic behind the glass. I went with the wide flat noodles (great chew!), and my little one loved the thin ones. Best part? FREE noodle refills – such a win when eating with kids! The lamb skewers are a must-order too. Charcoal-grilled with cumin and spices, juicy and packed with flavour. We ordered 5 and wished we'd got 10. The vibe – spacious, clean, and pram-friendly. The Emporium location is a game-changer – no more trekking to Box Hill! Plenty of seating, good lighting, and they have high chairs for little ones. Service was quick and friendly too. Honestly, this is as close as it gets to eating in Lanzhou itself. If you're craving authentic Chinese noodles or just want a hearty, comforting meal in the CBD

We walked past and noticed this new venue, so we decided to give it a try. We arrived early and were the first customers of the day. Ordering was easy, and the food arrived quite quickly. My partner ordered the braised beef noodle, while I had the stir-fried noodle. The stir-fried noodle looked appealing, but unfortunately the taste was disappointing. It lacked flavour and reminded me more of a bolognese-style dish than the noodle dish I was expecting. The braised beef noodle, on the other hand, looked okay and tasted good. One nice feature was that the soup could be refilled, although it appears that only a half refill is provided, which wasn’t clearly advertised. The service was fine, but the seating area near the back door could definitely be improved. Staff were frequently going in and out of the rear area, and some were smoking outside, with smoke drifting back into the dining area. This was quite unpleasant, especially as we had babies with us. Overall, the food was okay but nothing particularly memorable. It’s probably not somewhere we’d return to, but it was worth trying once.
