The place was not crowded during our visit, and our food was served promptly. The ayam penyet was alright but I love the chilli that accompanied the dish. The mee bandung was above average and slightly pricey. Overall a pleasantly satisfying meal

One of the nicer and more authentic mee bandung, and of course the famous Ayam penyet. Dishes can be pricey but they are delectable local delights.

Ordered Nasi Goreng Ayam Penyat boneless with sunny side up $12. Very Pricey. Fried rice ok taste. Chicken ok. The Dabao box quality too soft. Called their shop phone to order and collect.

1st time visiting, a variety of choices, friendly customer service, my rating is for the food I had, nasi ayam penyet, soup salty, sambal ain't spicy (not the type of chili sambal taste as others), the rice taste like 'chicken rice'. But this is just my point of view, able to eat finish, but not satisfied.

I read an article bout this place n article mentioned like having a meal in Indonesia.. totally over hype n Overpriced... Not that the foods are no good but totally overpriced... Proclaim to be "power" ayam penyat didn't seem to be so impressive, yes the chicken is crispy but not as it claimed the best in SG... Can get a $3.00 one in any part of Indonesia n still taste so so much compare to these... The mee bandung is good but at $8.00 n come with only 1 prawn don't seem to be very worth it too... Service very very slow, n coffee shop with almost all dirty chair n table don't seem very hygienic too... Yes will be a long wait guess due to the very slow service n not "too much orders" to handle...

Lack of manpower. Ordered at 7.19pm received at 7.56pm. Waited almost 40 mins for just 2 nasi ayam penyet takeaway order. Didnt even bother telling me in advance that it will take long. If they had told me i wouldn’t have ordered. Because of them my food bought from other store has become cold.

Super tasty Ayam Penyet in town!! My friends and family love it very much!! The chicken is tender, crispy and juicy, their boneless chicken very easy and convenient to eat. 5 stars for sure !

This is by far the best Ayam penyet that I have eaten. It’s so crispy on the outside yet the meat is juicy and tender. Not to mention that the chicken thigh is huge. I have it twice a week at least. The must order is Ayam penyet nasi goreng. Never go wrong with that.

Don't order grab food here as they are taking in orders that they can't fulfilled. Placed an order today on grab food at 11.30am, 1.30pm they still "preparing". Delivery time keep on changing as they still "in the kitchen". Took me talking to Grab support for 30 MINS to make they cancel this order. Very disappointing and waste my time. After 2 hours, I need to cook Maggie mee myself for lunch wth.

Not sure what the hype is about because this place sells sub par ayam penyet. The chicken is tasteless and lacks any flavour. Definitely no where close to the best in Singapore or worth the price at all. Service was extremely slow as well.

One of the most delicious Ayam Penyet I've tasted! The chicken is well-fried, crispy and flavourful!

Excellent service. Kudos to Server/Cashier and also the Chefs at back of kitchen to attend to our requests. 👏 💯 Great atmosphere, right at the corner of the block. Food served piping hot. Worth the wait. 🔥 Best Dish: Nasi Ikan Kerapu (Grouper) PRO TIP: Order some fries as a starter while you wait for the mains as the food may take some time, especially if you come in big groups (Mine was 10pax) . Food is fried ala minute to ensure quality. 🌟

Visited on a weekday lunch and thankfully the wait wasnt too long! The chicken was really crispy and moist, though i wished it was marinated or salted a little, as it was kind of bland. But when u eat it with the sambal, it was really good though! Tempeh and tofu was fried perfectly too. Rice was ok but i think their nasi goreng is better (tried from my friend's plate hehe). Will return again.

Amazing food! Portion is normal, could be a bit generous but it's not bank breaking so it's not too bad. Wife had the Sotong Penyet rice. Sotong was delicious. The tempeh and tofu is very well flavoured. The sambal is fantastic too. I had Mee Bakso and it's really top tier. Would definitely recommend!

Stated opens at 10am, but when we came at 11.30am the lady say ayam penyet and western is not available so we agreed and decided to order other food on the menu. After we have decided, my father proceed to order at the counter, the lady now said, oh food is not available, only available at 12 or 1pm because they are preparing online orders. We felt that it's not fair because we got handicap and kids. If food is not available at all, and you wanna focus on online orders instead, it makes more sense for you to close the store instead.

Ayam penyet came with chicken rice rice which made it even better. The meat is well-marinated and the sambal adds the perfect sweet and spicy kick. Cheese fries were loaded with sauce, jelak towards the end, but great for sharing. Fast service located in a quiet corner, perfect for dinner in a big group.
