One of the most satisfying meals I’ve ever purchased! The sambal cabe rawit and sambal matah were outstanding, and the ayam bakar and ikan penyet are easily among the best I’ve had. Prices are reasonable as well. Will definitely be returning!

Ordered the signature ayam penyet for $6.50 which is pretty good. I would enjoy it more if i was given more chilli or if the chicken is more tender. The chilli here really helps to add flavour and moisture to the ayam so that it tastes better. But if you can't take chilli or if you have low tolerance for "heat", you will likely not enjoy it as the chicken on its own is a bit dry.

Encourage by review in google and media social information, I try the Ayam Penyet here and it absolutely delicious. The chicken is well seasoned by the flavour, tender on the inside, and perfectly crispy on the outside. The portion is generous and the price is very reasonable for the quality and taste.
There are six different types of sambal to choose ranging from very spicy to mild, so it’s suitable even for those who don’t usually eat spicy food. Everyone can enjoy it according to your own capability in spicy food & their preference at the menu board. The combination of rice, chicken, sambal, and soup makes it a very satisfying meal. On top of that, the staff provide excellent service, friendly, attentive, and efficient, which really adds to the dining experience.
Definitely a place worth coming back to. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a flavorful and satisfying Ayam Penyet experience.

OMG!!! The best ayam penyet by far! I've tried from Indonesia, Malaysia and even Indonesian shops in Australia but THIS IS THE BEST!!!
The owners are super friendly and nice. I couldn't decide which sambal to take and requested for a few of them. Super yum!!! 10000000% recommended!

Encouraged by the great reviews, I swung by early to try them out myself. We had two orders of Ayam Bakar, 1 of Ayam Penyet and 1 of Ayam Sambal Ljo (the last two being the least spicy).
They had just opened at 10am when we arrived about 15 minutes later, and not all the specials are ready. Service from the two gentlemen, who brought the plates to our table even though it was self-service, was prompt and great. They put the sambal by the sides knowing that some members of my party cannot eat too spicy a level.
Now the food. Overall, the meals weren't that bad. But I didn't think they were as good as I thought.
The ayam sambal ljo - the chicken here of all 4 plates, was dry and not as tasty. The sambal being a green sambal was not spicy, but didn't lift the dish.
The ayam bakar had the larger pieces of chicken legs, presumably from not being deep fried. The spicy sambal was okay, but I was expecting perhaps wrongly a sambal kicap to go along.
The ayam penyet has a savoury sambal, not the usual sweet version as is more common (which I actually like). Someone had commented about the saltiness and small sambal portion. It is salty, but when mixed with the rice and chicken, the taste is acceptable.
What I thought was probably a bit disappointing was that the chicken legs weren't reheated. Other places where I've enjoyed these sort of dishes usually had their bakar pieces grilled to finish before plating and serving. And the penyet refried crisply before smashing with a scattering of crispy bits. I don't recall seeing kicap manis - I could have asked, but didn't- my oversight - although it'll probably tip the salty level a bit.
Still, it wasn't a bad meal; it just wasn't what I had anticipated from the glowing reviews. Which was a bit disappointing.
