Taste wise I am satisfied, but quite disappointed with the size & portion of the chicken/food. It’s too small for a thigh and tender chicken been cut into smaller pieces. Waker means BIG but it’s the opposite.

Ordered the Soy Sauce and Honey Butter chicken. Soy Sauce was ok, but the sauce doesn't coat the entire chicken generously like 4Fingers. The white powder seasoning for the Honey Butter chicken was used sparingly also, and more salty than sweet. Perhaps the other outlets might be better. 🤔

Tried the Honey butter chicken rice set and and extra Soy chicken fillet al a carte. Both tasted really good and sweet.

Attempted to order Sweet and spicy but no stock. Hence I ordered Soy sauce flavour. The chicken is not very crispy and nothing like the one I ate in Seoul. In fact, I made better than this. Final verdict is pedestrian.

Incident: Honey Butter Chicken 7pcs Outlet: 302 Woodlands Street 31 Time & Date: 1850hrs & 21 Aug 2023 My sister & i ordered 7pc Honey Butter chicken that cost us S$15. We bought it take away as for my family to eat. The moments we reach home we notice the chicken was plain. Tasteless. Worst part there no flakes on top of the chicken. It was our first time visiting this outlet. But left with a very big disappointment.

Got to know this place through Insta ads. So decided to give it a try. Kopitiam is newly renovated so the stalls looks clean. Only 2 people are manning the stall. The main guy was doing all the frying marinating packing ordering and cashiering. While the other helper mainly washes and prep the chicken. Main guy was sweating (can’t blame) and cleaning his sweat on shirt, then handling money, touches the packing boxes (tongs are used to grabbed the chicken). Think can improve on personal hygiene. Food wise, i like the soy marinated while my mum like the sweet and spicy version. The original is well… plain after you tried the sauced version. Chicken is tender but not sure is it because I “da bao”. Some pieces are dry. Will definitely try again to eat in and give a another review.

I ordered 1x Soy Sauce Chicken Rice set & 1x Honey Butter Chicken Rice set. I received 2x plain chicken instead. Not highly recommended to buy their food. Staff never even bother to help with this issue.

Waited so long for my takeaway and I was shocked when I opened the box and see my tiny 2pcs chickens and literally 10pcs of fries with rice. Meh. Wish i can show a photo here but I don’t know why I have no option to upload photo. Maybe if your serving is small, use a smaller box so customer’s expectation is not so high. However, i would still say the chickens are cooked fresh and not a leftover double fried kinda thing.

Tried 7pcs Soy Chicken at $14. Although it is not coated with thick layer of sauce, it is juicy and flavourful enough. Juice was dripping when you bite into it. Portion size is decent. Batter is not too thick and best of all, crispy till the last bite and I didn't see much blood stain on the bone/meat. Would be back to try other flavours.
