Visited the Venus Fish bar on Saturday evening and overall very pleased with the experience- I had the fish and chips, which was good quality and plenty of chips - was a large portion shared bewtween two - my wife had the chicken kebab - nice chicken , salad was good . Staff friendly, well priced.

That’s the last time I go. Miserable faces serving you.Three times I had to ask for sauce. Chicken was dry last time I went but you always go again. This time it looked like the chicken was cooked yesterday and the chips were tasteless and greasy. Me and my son left the chips and one piece of chicken. Wish I’d gone McDonald’s. And why do they only accept cash Maybe they need an audit from HMRC.
