Very Nasty and a pure Waste of Money ADVICED NOT TO BOTHER.. Chips are hard, dry and have eye's and bits of pealing left on and re-cooked.. And chips are always re-warmed the next day wich makes chewing them feel like plastic chips. No good for people with false teeth.

I’m so glad this place is Halal. Food is delicious and satisfies me every time. Nothing better than a classic fish and chips 👍🏻 service is lovely as well the ladies at the till are so friendly and generous. Highly recommend

Big portions and great prices 👏 👍 Alright service and always busy😁 Lots of parking outside which is pay and display but you'll be alright 😉 I've been coming here for years no problems 😊 one of many lasting chippys still in Hanley 😋 Thanks team Venus fish bar 🙏💙

I have been taking my nephew here for year on a Saturday evening. It’s very busy so I usually ring my order through before hand… he actually won’t eat any where else… He is your biggest fan 😂donnar meat and chips salt and vinegar with mayo…. If you know you know… Would I recommend 💯✌🏽

2023-Jun: Visited just before closing, but still got food :). Had small fish and chips, Dad had Schwarma. Fish and chips were okay, reasonably sized for the price. Took them a while to sort out our milkshakes, but they were busy doing the end of day cleaning preparing to close for the night. On that note, having previously worked at a fish and chip shop I was impressed at their cleaning routine and overall cleanliness of the place. When we arrived the seating area was a bit messy but by the time we left it was gleaming again. The kitchen also looked very clean, no sign of grease build up on the cooking equipment or the white walls and they were washing down the kebab machines as we (seated) ate. I didn't see them clean the hot box but to be fair it still had food in it and was hot. 2022-Jan: Massive portions, yummy food, not too long queue on Sunday night. Seemed like the girl was a bit new/slow on the till but otherwise all good.
