I opted to try out this recently opened ayam penyet establishment. However, I was extremely disappointed with my experience. Initially, I ordered bakso and had to wait for around 10 minutes, which I understood since they needed time to cook the noodles. But then, when I ordered ayam penyet, I had to wait for another 15 minutes and was still waiting. I couldn't understand why the chicken wasn't already fried. Numerous customers came and left with their food before us. I couldn't comprehend how this kind of service was being provided, especially considering there were 4 staff members present.

Food is good! And went during weekday lunch time and didn't wait too long for my food.

A bit expensive for a coffeeshop item.

Is a new stall so i decided to try out their signature!!!! Presentation as seen in the picture, nicely plated for the smash fried chicken, fried tofu, cherry tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce. Rice with some curry served on a big plate so you can transfer the meat over. Unfortunately i think the kitchen is using frozen chicken, doesn’t taste freshness at the point of my meal, color of the meat is darker, also the texture is a bit tough, not “smashed? The sambal chilli (i think) is a bit diluted style but packed a fiery punch. Basically a lot of crispy selection such as chicken, fish and even duck are in the menu, for fried food lover for sure. Got 4 manpower inside, 2 were busy chatting while work, 1 was busy preparing. The last one take order, prepare the food, serve the food and cashier. No wonder the food is a BIT expensive for coffeeshop style. I prefer cheap and good. But not expensive yet taste below average. Taste is subjective, don’t take all my words for it. Will i try again? I don’t think so unless i got serious craving for it.

Visited the Bukit Batok outlet today around 5.20pm. I ordered, -3x Ayam Penyet -1x Ayam Panggang -2x Otah -1x Keropok When i reached home, all items are packed correctly except Ayam Panggang set. I was given something else which I believed it was Ikan Kerapu. I am totally appalled as I do not eat fish and unable to enjoy the meal. Had to gave it away to my other family members.

Ordered nasi lemak. Server said needed 10 minutes for the chicken wing to be ready. Turned out the chicken wing was re fried. Waited more than 10 minutes. Chicken wing was over fried. It was so hard. For the price, this is not worth the wait nor the food. Many stall helpers here. Considering today manpower challenges, the number of manpower in this stall must be envied by others.

Nice and tasty food. Preferred the original version, though. The grilled chicken may be a little too sweet for some folks.

Food was good. They will only start frying the chicken once order is placed. The sambal could have been abit more though. Nothing negative overall.

We enjoy the ayam penyet set both in the food court and delivery home. The chicken is decently moist (unlike a lot of food court ones that can be quite dry). Good portion of toufu, rice and I appreciate the portion of lettuce, cucumber and cherry tomato.

The stall specializes in Penyet, yet my heart leans towards the Ayam Panggang! The chicken boasts tender perfection, with a gravy that hits the sweet-salty sweet spot just for me. However, the true champions here are the curry sauce and sambal chili!

Last time I bought nasi lemak in the evening, the rice and chicken wing is cold. Probably the wings left there from morning till evening. But I gave them another chance, I bought it at late morning 11.10am. Very disappointed, the egg and wing are cold, rice is not warm, peanuts not crunchy. Don’t ever try buying their nasi lemak. Very disappointed.

Service is a bit slow. I was at the stall on a slow Saturday afternoon at 2.20 pm. I waited in front of the stall for a full 5 minutes, there was no other customers and the stall helper was busy typing up plastic bags in front of the cashier machine and not able to take my order. In the end, I went to the neighbouring stall. The stall cook actually look relieved that I was going to another stall.
