I’ve been meaning to leave this review for a few days, but I was busy. I came back today and was reminded of my previous experience. I ordered three dishes and still waited over 30 minutes. The main issue was the Chinese cook, who kept using his phone smiling by himself instead of preparing and cooking the food, even after staff had to remind him multiple times. This isn’t a one-off. Even when it’s not busy, service is still very slow. The food was also disappointing—overcooked glass noodles and watery, soggy Pad Thai. Overall, very poor service and food quality. Management should seriously address the kitchen efficiency, especially the cook’s attitude and focus.

⭐☆☆☆☆ I had a very disappointing experience at Time for Thai. I placed a takeaway order, paid for my food, and waited quietly at a table. After a while, a male staff member came over and placed tissues and cutlery on my table without saying a word. He then returned to the kitchen entrance and pointed at me, then pointed toward a customer who had just entered the restaurant, indicating that I should give up my seat for the dine-in customer. I understand that dine-in customers need seats, especially when the restaurant is full. I had no problem giving up my seat. If the staff had simply come over and politely explained the situation, I would have moved immediately. Instead, being pointed at from across the restaurant made me feel disrespected and embarrassed. It was a very rude and unprofessional way to communicate with customer. Good customer service is about treating customers with respect and communicating politely. Unfortunately, this experience left a very bad impression on me, and I will not be returning.

The short hair female staff was very helpful. She assisted me with the order & payment at the kiosk & also very quick in bring the food out. Was pleasantly surprised that the pad siew was very well fried, got the wok (chao tar) taste that makes it very delicious. A lil too oily at the bottom though. The lemongrass drink was very refreshing & goes well with the noodles.

Hafiz from the Woodleigh Mall outlet truly impressed us with his outstanding service today. We had intended to order one basil chicken with rice set (which comes with a drink) and a mango sticky rice. However, we didn’t realise that we could add the mango sticky rice as an add-on to the set at a much lower price. I had initially selected the à la carte mango sticky rice and was about to make payment when Hafiz thoughtfully stepped in. He explained that it would be more affordable to add it to the set instead, and kindly helped us amend the order. Thanks to his attentiveness and honesty, we were able to save some money — something we genuinely appreciated. What touched us even more was that he later came by to check on us and asked whether we had broken our fast, noticing that my mum was wearing a headscarf. It was such a considerate and heartfelt gesture. Hafiz is truly a warm, observant, and helpful person. We are very grateful for his excellent service and thoughtful kindness.
