Bought Ikan Bilis Vadai twice and was satisfied both times. The vadai were freshly cooked, dough was soft and the ikan bilis were still crunchy. Held back 1 star from the rating simply because I couldn't tell how authentic the taste was.

Though I don't normally eat vadai but I purchased a few times from here because people been taking about how nice it is. It is indeed nice (or maybe it's my one and only vadai I ever eaten) but the Malay guy with bleached hair doesn't seem happy when I purchase close to 10pm. I understand it's your closing time, hence when he gave me attitude I also suck thumb. I also tried to pay via paynow so they don't need to recount cash. What tops the cake was after my order was packed, he simply left it beside the cashier expecting me to reach in to take it myself. The Indian guy who served me were great though. Maybe I should buy the indian rojak directly opposite this stall instead..

Visited TOV @North Point 1st Time this afternoon at 300pm bought 8 pcs Prawn Vadai from Irfan who gave good service! Tried them at home and was very disappointed the Prawn Vadai were not done properly, soft and chewy, unlike any Vadai I have tried in the past 30 years! Absolutely horrible and I have to throw balance 7 pcs away! Hope mgmt can teach Malay Female Staff to fry Vadai properly! North Point Outlet will eventually close shop! I saw a slightly fat Female Malay Staff frying the Vadai when I was purchasing them! Another Slimmer Malay Female Staff was doing the washing! The Prawn Vadai were not slightly Crispy at all which a Vadai should be! OMG 🙄! Absolutely Horrible!

Vadai was ok but I don’t know if the food is worth it to tolerate the rude service you’ll be be getting at this outlet 🥲

Few days ago, my sister in law went to North point and when she saw there is new makan stall vadai origin, she was very happy and intent to buy some for us to eat. After her queue, the Malay lady served her and she purposely choose all the over fried vadai which is rediculas. So my sister in law told the lady to change to a normal fried one. The Malay lady started to crumbled. Although my sister in-law don't understand Malay ( she is Chinese)but with the tone and face expression, she knew that that Malay lady is not happy. Of course as a customer, she took sometime to queue, spend money to buy your food and she gave such kind of service . The worse when my sister in law was about to pay, the malay lady said , " if all the customer act like you, we no need to do the business" . My sister in-law very angry and she reply her" in that case , then i don't buy lor" and she keep her money and put back to her wallet. When she reached home she cried and told us the bad experience that she had at " Vadai original" stall at North point . I hope the owner please train your workers some manners when they speak to thier customers.

I was on diet but I wanted to reward myself and buy 1 but then I bite one time I know I regret already. Some more my husband bite 1 time, half finish already. It was freshly made, still hot and the dough was so soft. Softest I ever ate in my life. I'm never going back to pasar malam vadai. So then I came back to the shop to buy 10 more like the budak gemuk that I am, mind you it was 10pm already. Their shop still open and they still layan me. Thank you so much. I gained another 2kg maybe but whatever la my body my rulez.

I asked to buy. 12- 15 pieces of vadai and requested for a box as its for a gift. But the staff kept insisting I need to buy 20 or 30 pcs in order to be entitled for the box. I even did not mind paying for the box but my request was turned down. I guess there are too many negative reviews that the staff initiated me to write my umpleasant feedback on the website. While so many pastry or snack shops are willing to put our purchases in a box , Why is TOV unwilling to provide this small gesture ? I am sure many customers will be delighted and pit brings them back again and again. Such an unpleasant experience is defimitely not encouraging for TOV’s business or customers. Please do some research on how to maintain your customers. Thanx

The worst outlet! Queue was horrible. Staff unhappy. Not my first time experiencing this from Yishun outlet so cannot tahan the nonsense. Went there on 23 Oct 2023 abt 5pm. Ordered 10 pieces of prawn vadai but only received 9 pieces of green chillis. The guy practically counted the chillis. To be honest, most people eat at least 2 chillis per vadai. Will avoid this outlet.

Similar experience with other reviews. Bad experience & super stingy with chilli?!. Bought 3 vadai and was given 3 chilli. When asked for more, gave 1 more chilli then point to a sign beside on charges for additional chilli. “How many you want?” Unbelievable.

Finally able to taste the popular vadai shop in SG. Taste great. Wifey also like it. I ordered the prawn, ikan billis, grago aka shrimp paste, onion and chili. Best is still the prawn ones where u can eat the prawn as it is. The shell is still crispy. Second one I like will be the ikan billis followed by grago. Fresh green chilies is given and it adds more spice to the vadai.

Your vadai are really good which is undeniable. Your service staff, are the worst. Always have bad experiences with th service staff. We totally understand the waiting time to get nice food. However your service staff doesn't seem to be willingly selling your food. "Need to wait you know" Like, hey can you send your service staff for training? If they can't commit to work as service staff then don't work. As a service staff, you should be mentally, emotionally and spiritually prepared facing with crowds daily. Especially during PH and weekends. The kind of attitude from your service staff will shunned all the customers away. All the best to your business if no further action steps up.
