Bought 6pcs of prawn vadai at Yishun northpoint outlet (refer to photo on my receipt). The shop has no customer during that point of time of my visit. Both the cashier staff and cook staff is so engrossed looking into their mobile phones. Both staffs are Indian males. The cashier did not even acknowledge that I was standing there to order, he got a shocked when I said "hi" to him. After my purchase and paid to the cashier staff, I as a customer had to even asked him for a receipt. He eventually gave me a receipt for my purchase, with his unhappy face. I thought a GST registered company had to automatically issue a receipt whenever a customer buys your product. 1) staffs are busy engrossed playing their phones. 2) prawn vadai is very oily. 3) no receipt was issued by your cashier staff, upon purchase and only required customer to request for the receipt.

😡😡Very disappointed with the service. I purchased their food and simply asked for one skewer stick so I could eat it. The food was still hot, and I clearly explained that I didn’t want to use my hands to pick up the hot food. However, the female staff still refused to give me one. When I asked, “So you expect me to pick it up directly with my hands?” she simply replied “Yes.” I was honestly very shocked by her attitude. It was just a simple request for one skewer, and I really didn’t expect such an unfriendly and unhelpful response. Definitely not a pleasant experience.😡

I visited at around 1040 today, but the staff member looked completely exhausted, as if he had been working for 24 hours without any rest. He showed no expression, and it felt like customers were interrupting his break just by walking in. I asked how many items could fit into one box, and he replied, without any expression, “8.” I said, “Okay, I’ll take 10.” Instead of packing 8 in a box and the remaining 2 in a paper bag, he put all 10 into a paper bag. I politely pointed out, “Isn’t one box for 8 pieces, with the extra 2 in a paper bag?” He replied, still expressionless, “One box can only hold 8.” I said, “Yes, that’s exactly what I meant. Please put 8 in the box and the remaining 2 in the paper bag.” Only then did he reluctantly do it, looking as though I was making an unreasonable request. May I ask whether someone with such a negative attitude is really suitable for a customer-facing role? Frontline staff represent the company, and basic courtesy and willingness to help customers should be the minimum expectation. Based on this experience, I was very disappointed.

Always bought via grab. I think this vadai is quite good. The dough is soft and enjoyable! Quite consistent, slightly oily, we usually just use kitchen towel to soak up some oil before eating.
