The online menu has additional types of fish, such as haddock, to choose from. We tried the signature Hoki as well as the popular Halibut fish and chips. We preferred the firm, meaty and clean-tasting hoki fish. The halibut was moist but too soft and flaky. Unlike the hoki fillet, the halibut still has skin on, probably to prevent it from crumbling when frying and cutting into it. But at the same time, hints of fishy taste and smell seeped through. Chips were tad soft and lacked crisp but seasoning was not bad. As recommended by many, we added on the curry sauce. The taste is somewhat close to that of prata curry. It was okay but we preferred the tangy and creamy tartar sauce. Served in a wide yet shallow bowl, the portion of the clam chowder was unexpectedly petite. It was smooth but a bit too salty for our liking. We were looking forward to try the butter beer but it was sold out when we visited.

Had Halibut Fish and Chips + brussels sprouts + onion rings + butter beer. Butter beer was good and worth a try. Halibut was tender, and onion rings were ok. Brussels sprouts are a little hard and not my favourite, so I can't really comment on it. Service wise, they serve food to you and that's it, so it's quite basic. As I was there to celebrate my friend's birthday, I was surprised when the staff told us to put away our cake (bought from Paris Baguette) because outside food is not allowed and we have to pay corkage to have cake there. This happened when we were eating it midway. On the other side of the room, a family was celebrating birthday with cake bought from outside, and we were told that they were allowed to have the cake because they paid corkage fees. While we complied with their instructions to put away the cake, the celebratory mood obviously died. While corkage fee for cake is new to me, I would still respect it, but I am repulsed by the midway instruction to keep the cake. Nonetheless, for everyone reading this, please note that there is corkage fee for consuming cake bought from outside.

Fish & chips terpaling biashe I’ve had. Was it exceptionally good? No. Was it bad? Also no. It was ok. I will not return nor recommend it to my friends and family. Ngl, butter beer dia sedap and that was the highlight of the meal. Price wise, a bit steep. I pergi time lunch on weekday and the place was only filled by me and another table. Tak tau lah boleh survive ke tak.

We tried both the Halibut and Haddock Fish & Chips. While both were tasty, I highly recommend going for the Halibut, it was incredibly tender and fresh! Don't skip out on the root beer and onion rings either; it pairs perfectly with the food. Special thanks to Khalisa and Haley for taking such great care of us. Their friendly and attentive service made the dining experience even better. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Been looking out for a good F&C and was excited to try this out. Ordered the halibut and the pollock plus the onion rings and the butter beer. The pollock comes out a little flakey and the halibut was nice and juicy, both fresh. Onion rings were tasty and butter beer interesting. Overall, 👍🏼👍🏼. The owner Haley and staff were friendly and place has the vibes of a British pub, so if you are up for a nice little experience…
