Just 3 of us, we finished almost every piece of the food we ordered: Chicken satay, tahu goreng, beef rendang, bee hoon goreng, black sauced tiny squid. Also ordered avocado and glass jelly drinks. A Super Yummy meal!

The food was good, didn’t have to wait too long for the food. Quite crowded during dinner time. Ordered the Nasi Campur (beef redang, sayur lodeh, sambal goreng) and Singkong Santan (tapioca leaves in coconut gravy) and the satay. All was tasty esp singkong which it not easily available.

Bad and paid a premium for it. Beehoon goreng - bland Nasi goreng - bland but satay was good Oxtail soup - small portion Perkadel ayam - saltish to the max Overall food came lukewarm and less to say its quite pricey. My memory of it supposedly good, 20yrs ago.

The food served is not hot enough, so we have to ask them to heat up again. The satay is nice. The rest are quite average dish. Service is so so, price is considered on the side based on the food quality.

Nice and flavourful dishes. Does remind you of authentic Indonesian cuisine. Rang eof spicy and no spicy food that all can enjoy. Their cendol is worth waiting for.

Food was moderate. The food wasn’t serve hot and the taste was okay. Felt really bloated after eating, immediately I knew food was prepared way earlier and not freshly cooked and serve. I have very sensitive gastric. To go back or not? Nah.

We would like to show our appreciation to Mr Jay who not only confirming our bookings but also making our mother's birthday dinner a wonderful celebration. We would also like to thank all the the Tambuah Mas staff for the impeccable service they provided for all our 12 guests. A shout out for the chefs and cooks for the delicious food that was prepared for the the occasion. Quite a wide range of dishes on the menu. Rendang was lean, and hence tougher than expected though the taste was great. Gado Gado and tahu telur were pleasant, though the peanuts used in Gado Gado wasn't the most fresh tasting. Chicken satay was tender and not overgrilled, peanut sauce was good. Ikan pepes was nicely done. The yellow rice was fluffy, with long grains separating nicely. Overall, they seemed a bit short of staff. Sambal was good.

The experience from making reservation to dining was excellent. They were accommodating to our big group and the service during the dining pleasant. Food was good as usual. Highlight is the deep fried fish which was fresh and crispy. The beef rendang was a bit dry compared to what I had at the Tanglin Shopping Centre branch. But overall the food and service did not disappoint and we all enjoyed our dinner.

Their Tahu Telur is good!!! Then again, Tahu Telur is always good eh!!! Cannot comment on authenticity but the food is really nice and flavourful. Soup was tasty (albeit small) and everyone was fighting over the spicy crispy squid. The fried chicken, while good, is not the fastfood style and hence not very popular with the kids. Otherwise, everyone left satisfied and we had all these, + free flow of rice, for under 100 for 4 big eaters!!! And oh! Did i mention that the Tahu Telur is really good?!

I love what we ordered! Tauhu Telor is simply delicious. Bean curd fried in an egg batter- crisp on the outside, tender tofu on the inside - drizzled with sweet sauce with some spiciness. Yummy. Nasi Campur is rice surrounded with traditional spicy vegetable, egg & chicken. A complete meal. Will come back for the tauhu telor!

This is not the first time we dine at Tambuah Mas. The food is good, quite authentic. Service is not the best, probably due to shortage of staff and poor training.

Food is as good as their other outlets. But the chicken was on the dry side. Chili is fragrant and spicy, their mutton soup is a must try. Noticed there were lots of reservations on other tables at 7pm. So go early if you need a table.

Managed to get seats for 6 pax on my birthday. It’s javanese dishes and i maybe bias but my sister’s cooking is still nicer. However, im happy that all of us enjoyed our time spent there as it was my birthday afterall. Photos for you to drool

We took quite some time to order because everything looked and sounded yummy. In the end we kind of over-ordered but we were happy with what we ate: • Ikan Nila Goreng- crisp fried fish served with homemade sweet spicy dark sauce • Ayam Goreng Istimewa- fried chicken in spice blend • Tahu Telur- deep fried beancurd drizzled with homemade sweet spicy dark sauce • Sate Ayam- served with cucumber, onions and homemade peanut sauce • Rendang Lembu- braised beef stewed in a traditional spice blend and coconut milk You can tell that we love our fried food. And of course we all opted for Nasi Kuning, which is yellow rice cooked in coconut milk. A great place to dine with family or friends because you get to try more variety of dishes.

Food has become average lately, more like a watered down version of Javanese food. The tahu telor, their signature dish was quite dry, and there was very little sweet kecap sauce. Satay is good, but beef rendang has lost some of its original robust taste. For sure their location is central, very accessible. Service is efficient too.

Excellent service and food quality. The food portion is generous and tasty. We really enjoy the beef rendang Tauhu Teluh. Highly recommended to go if you are near Great World.
