Very disappointed with the amount of kunafa pistachio spread on my waffle. The sides didnt even have any spread, and this costs $3.20. Taste was ok and not amazing, but way too stingy. Was excited to try it, but never again.

I had peanut butter waffle but the spreading was very thin. I asked for the waffle to be slightly more soft as I prefer it that way. Cashier staff didn’t not response for the first time and I spoke in Chinese. Still no response. When I saw that it is my turn, I told the staff who is at the waffle station to prepare my waffle softer and she agreed. Well.. I got my crispy waffle instead.. P.s. I can see that the waffle station staff is very very new Staff service and food is not up to standard, please look into it

Tucked away in the basement of Woods Square Mall, this Swee Heng 1989 Classic outlet is a hidden gem for anyone working or living nearby. It offers a more refined take on your traditional heartland bakery, with updated packaging, premium ingredients, and modern vibes — all while staying affordable. 🍞 What’s Great: • Modern spin on traditional bakes: You’ll find crowd-favourites like cheese lava buns, mochi-filled bread, taro, Hokkaido milk buns, and even soft matcha or sweet potato mochi buns — perfect for those who want something classic with a twist. • Clean and well-organized: The outlet is neat, easy to navigate, and shelves are well-stocked during peak hours. • Halal-certified: Great for Muslim customers, just like all Swee Heng branches. • Good service: Staff are generally friendly, patient, and fast even when there’s a queue. • Nice for office crowd: Since Woods Square is an office hub, it’s convenient for professionals looking for a quick bite or a tea break option. 🤏 What Could Be Improved: • Smaller outlet: Compared to major mall locations, this branch may have a more limited variety — so popular items like cheese lava or sweet potato buns can run out fast. • No dine-in area: It’s takeaway-only, like most Swee Heng outlets, so don’t expect café-style seating. • Not easy to find for first-timers: Being in the basement of Woods Square (not Causeway Point), it might be slightly hidden unless you know where to look. ⭐ Verdict: Swee Heng 1989 Classic at Woods Square Mall is a solid, stylish upgrade from the usual heartland bakery. It’s a convenient, clean, and wallet-friendly place for high-quality local-style bakes. Perfect for nearby office workers or Woodlands residents who enjoy soft, comforting breads with a premium touch.

Please avoid buying the waffles here. Ordered double peanut with the makcik then she like blur sotong “double peanut??” Then the friend had to tell her double peanut put two times spread la. The double peanut like non existent. Then my blueberry waffle spread also like abit. No idea why so stingy with the toppings like as if she use her own salary to pay for my toppings. Eh hello Swee Heng wake up your idea la. Educate your staffs please. You all want to save cost but put the toppings properly with standard can?
