I ordered the rice, rendang dish and fried chicken heart all separately even if it will cost me more compared to.ordering the meal, but restautant packed the rendang together with the rice. Looks disgusting! There was no such instruction. Fried chicken heart was missing too! I was expecting it packed separately as this is not an order for 1 person only. It's not my first time to order here also, but maybe the last. They used to pack the rendang and the rice in a separate plastic bag since it's ordered separately. But I don't understand why the restaurant decided for the customer! Very disappointing! Never to order here again. Not recommended!

I have to tell you that Sinar Sumang the variety of Nasi Sambal Goreng or Nasi Nasi Rawon has been the highest favourite mine. The quality of food with generous spices and portion which has made me a return customer again and again. Not to forget the Mee Soto and…lately I requested to check if they sell the Sambal Belacan…OMG! Alhamdullilah! Thank you Sinar Sumang for serving us!

A variety of menu, but quality and taste wise is just so so. Would gladly pay more for food from Hjh Maimunah anytime. What irks me when coming here is that food stall assistant is always busy chatting away when serving customers, and no need to be sarcastic when all I ask for is just 1 plastic bag, which I will eventually use to throw trash! Anyway, I did not go to your stall to ask for free food! Just focus on serving customers, no need to talk so much can.... wasting people's time! 🤐

I deleted my previous 5-star review (which I wrote about 6 months ago) after today’s extremely disappointing experience. I ordered white rice with sambal goreng, lemak vegetables, telur dadar, bergedil and two chicken wings. The total was $10.20, which I felt was ok because their food had always been consistently good and delicious before. However, today I noticed the young lady at the counter taking the chicken wings from a yellow plastic bag from the back. At the time I didn’t think much of it and went home looking forward to the meal. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The rice tasted different from their usual standard, the sambal goreng was bland and seemed old, and the chicken wings tasted stale — the rempah flavour had clearly gone off. It also had a weird slimy texture on the white part of the meat…It honestly felt like the food was not freshly prepared. It seemed like they’re recycling and selling old stock from yesterday…….. This is extremely concerning for a food business, especially during the month of Ramadan where freshness and consistency should be the bare minimum. In the end, I had to throw away most of the meal as it simply did not taste right. What a waste! Based on this experience, I will not be returning. If it were up to me, I wouldn’t even give a 1 star rating for the food/service! To the business owner: THROW LEFTOVERS! Don’t reheat and/or keep old food, to serve to customers the next day! For the trust and loyalty, all I got was a bad sore throat though it was a few mouthfuls 😡
