Heard about this local business from a family friend and their food is actually very great, everything is handmade in this cafe, especially their waffles 😋. The owner of this place is so nice and friendly, gave a complimentary creme brûlée as it was my birthday yesterday🎂. Would def come back here and reccomend people to come over to this nice cafe 10/10 👍 #supportlocalbusinesses ♥️

10:30pm on Hamilton Road, and the street was still busy, other eateries lit up, cars parked all along the road. But Salsa Legacy Café had no one inside. We almost didn't go in, thought maybe they were closing up. Turns out they were very much open. We'd actually driven past Lola Faye Café first and saw the queue out the door, so we kept going and ended up at Salsa's instead. Honestly worked out well. We were in the mood for waffles but nothing on their menu quite matched what we wanted, so we just asked if they could do something custom, off-menu. They said yes, no fuss at all, which we didn't expect. Food ended up being really good. We had the satay chicken pizza and kampung aglio olio, both solid. Kids had the vanilla bean ice cream with toasted marshmallow cloud foam, and we also got a tin of the malted milk crunch cookies. One thing worth mentioning: the menu uses AI generated photos, and even my kids picked up on it right away. The actual food looks and tastes much better than those pictures suggest, so real photos would honestly help them a lot. Only two staff working that night so service was a bit slow, but it's late night supper, so not a big deal. Food made with care rather than rushed. If you're around Hamilton Road late and want something quiet, worth checking out. Doesn't seem like many people know about this place yet.

stumbled upon this rather new cafe on a saturday evening which was quite empty so we decided to give it a try. the prices were reasonable for something quite in the town area :) the lady at the counter was very sweet and the drinks were really good! not too sweet like other cafes. the ice cream had a gelato-ish, stretchy and thick consistency and didn't melt super fast which we appreciated! this is such a good place to quietly do your work or hang out with your friends. would definitely return back to try their mains. only feedback is that the whole menu is in AI, which is abit of a turn off because we had to guess how the food would actually look like...the actual food looked really really good, because of how well the lady nicely presented and plated our food, so i doubt there's a need to use AI. other than that, i look forward to coming back 🥳

I came across Salsa’s Legacy Cafe on a casual Saturday afternoon and this turned out to be one of the better heritage-fusion concepts I’ve tried in Singapore! The creamy laksa pasta is an easy win. The laksa flavour was rich and fragrant, with enough lemak and spice to remind you of a proper bowl of laksa, yet it still worked as a pasta sauce. The mussels were fresh and generously portioned, even for two to share. There is a plethora of unique waffle combinations. We had the Pandan Gula Melaka Cloud Waffle and I LOVE that that the waffle had a lovely crisp exterior while staying fluffy inside. The space itself is so cosy and inviting, with warm lighting and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to linger over a meal. Prices are nett and truly value for money. Definitely a spot worth supporting!
