I had dinner at Sakana-No-Suppu inside Alexandra Retail Centre and tried their Signature Sakana & Gyoza Combo with udon. The collagen fish soup base was notably creamy and quite thick in texture, yet the overall taste remained very light and clean on the palate rather than being overly heavy or salty. The bowl comes loaded with smooth udon noodles, tender fish slices, gyoza, and a generous topping of shredded greens and seaweed. It is a comforting and nourishing option if you want a satisfying noodle soup that feels wholesome.

It was our first visit to Sakana-no-Suppa, and overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. A must-try is their signature Sakana G. Gyoza, which stood out with its unique flavor and was definitely worth ordering. We also had two bowls of the Sakana-no-Suppa fish soup, each served with a bowl of rice and a side salad. The fish soup was comforting and satisfying, making for a wholesome meal. While the salad dressing leaned slightly on the salty side when eaten on its own, it was still enjoyable and, importantly, did not leave any lingering aftertaste of thirst. Service was another highlight of the visit—the two gentlemen attending to us were friendly and patient, readily answering our questions and providing helpful clarifications. All in all, it left us with a good first impression.

🍜SHIFUDO NO MALA SUPPU - Fresh fish slices, prawns and asari in signature collagen mala soup with Udon! 🛍️UDON in a bag! Seafood Bagge with our choice of sauce as Smokey prawn reduction cream! Tasted so good! The gravy is like the prawn stock with the umami taste! Mains are served with Kimchi as well!

Halal-certified and truly worth the visit! We started the meal with their Signature Ebi Bagge Udon, and it was the highlight for us. The udon was perfectly cooked — thick, smooth, and chewy — coated in a rich, smokey prawn reduction cream that was deeply savoury and aromatic. The flavour of the prawns really came through, giving the dish a bold umami taste while still feeling creamy and well-balanced, not too heavy. Every bite was comforting and satisfying, with a subtle smokiness that made it stand out from typical udon dishes. We also tried the Shifudo No Mala Suppu, which brought a nice spicy kick. The mala flavour was fragrant and warming without overpowering the natural sweetness of the seafood, making it enjoyable even for those who prefer balanced heat. We had the Japanese Collagen Fish Soup with Japanese short grain rice, and it was clean, light yet flavourful — very nourishing and comforting. The fish was fresh with a nice firm texture, and you can really taste the natural goodness of the collagen-rich broth. You can feel the effort put into using natural ingredients and traditional techniques to preserve the freshness of the fish. If you enjoy clean, comforting Japanese-style fish soup with something unique like their Bagge series, this place is definitely worth trying. Great value, wholesome, and something different from the usual ramen experience. Will definitely be back again!

SAKANA-NO-SUPPU is a must-try for anyone who loves comforting Japanese soups. Their HALAL-CERTIFIED collagen fish broth is rich, clean, and full of natural seafood sweetness, showing the care they put into freshness and quality. I tried the Seafood Bagge with signature nitsuke cream and the Shifudo no Mala Suppu with udon—flavorful, satisfying, and well-balanced. The udon pairs perfectly with the soup, making it great value and a refreshing alternative to ramen. Definitely worth a visit!
