🍜 Food & Taste: I feel this Riverside Indonesian BBQ disappoints in terms of taste. The gravy was sweet and one dimensional. The fish was very dry and hard. Same for the chicken. The meat portion given was not a lot. 📍 Place: The place does seem crowded on a weekend. Seems very popular. 💰 Price: $6.50 for chicken set and $7 for fish set 🐣Waiting Time: Reasonable. Was not very long since time is still needed for food to be prepared.

Have the ayam sotong panggang set. Tasted very good. The curry goes well with rive and sambal. And there is limited seat all the time. Not suggesting big group dine in the mall. The food are not spicy, no worries

Very generous portion for $6.50. I enjoyed the chicken which was moist and flavourful. The curry and chilli are on the sweet side which probably appeals more to local tastebuds. Would recommend for a quick and filling bite around town!

Love the ayam panggang here, which is juicy and quite a generous meaty portion. The accompanying vegetables and egg are okay though. Prices are higher than most other food courts, but this is Orchard Road afterall.

It’s under $10 dollars with fish and chicken so definitely a steal for me. The both the chicken and fish was tender, the black sauce was a little sweet but there’s chilli and curry so it was fine in the end. The egg was also hella big and the meal made me super full. Plus point for the auntie being extra nice :) Not 5 stars cuz black sauce was a little too sweet.

Standard has truly bottomed. Chicken feels tough and dry, unlike previously it was juicy and tender. Veggie is no-no too. Absolutely unacceptable and I do not recommend anybody to try. Many other food options around the shop too, but for $5.80 (without adding $1 for veggie), can’t complain much.

The standard chicken set is our go to. They give you 2 pieces of chicken with the rice, curry, black sauce and egg. I would add the $1 to get the vegetable side as it goes really well with the dish. Their squid was on the tougher side but their boneless chicken with mee goreng was another good option. For dishes that go

Poor food taste, spoilt lime drink served, we told the counter lady for a refund or exchange which they were not ready to do, better avoid eating here for health reason

First time tried their Indomee goreng. Disappointment in terms of taste 😐 both the gravy & sambal was too sweet. No hint of spicyness at all. In fact, the sweetness overpowered the whole dish. Portion was alright for price.

Service is very bad. The staff (a Chinese lady in her 50s, she identified herself as Ms Wang) was very rude when I asked to pay by lend-lease or paylah. I understand that cash might be easier for you, but either methods are also legitimate payment methods. Suggest for franchise owner to consider if she is the right person for her role.
