So The environment of the place is chill and relaxed. Was pretty good. We got the Mixed Platter. It was good honestly I loved their Fried Chicken and their Lamb Ribs.It was amazing Their Fried Fish was aight. The reason why I did not put a 5 star was because their roasterd chicken ribs was dry.Like really dry.It was stringy too.So I did not enjoy it. Despite that,I'd still reccomend this place for their Beef and Lamb Ribs and Fried Chicken. And the fact they gave welcome drinks and a goodbye dessert, complimentary, shows that they care for the customer Would definitely be back to try more of their menu!

RIB served pretty generous portions, making it easy to share among a group of 5. Overall, the food was quite mediocre for us, with some hits and misses throughout the meal. The grilled platter was unfortunately the biggest disappointment. The steak was a little tough to cut and chew, while the grilled chicken was quite dry. On the other hand, the fried items on the mixed platter were much better and more enjoyable. There were a few standout dishes though. The fish on the platter was superb, easily our favourite item of the meal. The vegetables were nicely done, and the corn cob was lovely as well. We also tried the Butterbeer tower. It was a bit too sweet for our liking, and because it was served in a tower, it didn’t have the signature frothy top. That said, it was still a fun drink to share. A nice touch was the complimentary welcome shots, which were refreshing and a pleasant way to start the meal. Overall, the portions were generous, but the grilled items didn’t quite hit the mark for us.

If you're looking for a casual dining spot that serves quality meat without all the bells and whistles, RIB Soul Food is definitely worth a visit. Sometimes, all you need is a hearty, well-cooked steak in a laid-back setting, and this place delivers exactly that. The portions were generous and satisfying, making it great value for money. More importantly, the quality of the meat was consistently good. There was nothing overly fancy or pretentious about the dishes—just honest, comforting food done right. The steak was cooked well, tender, flavourful, and simply enjoyable from the first bite to the last. It's the kind of place where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a good meal without having to worry about complicated menus or gimmicky presentations. What I appreciated most was the consistency. The standard of the food was solid, and it's evident that they focus on serving good-quality meat rather than trying to overcomplicate things. Sometimes, simple is best, and RIB Soul Food proves that perfectly. One thing to note, though—the location can be a little tricky to find if it's your first visit. The restaurant is tucked away within Rest Bugis Hotel, so it took us a while to locate it initially. However, once you've found it, you'll realise that this hidden gem is well worth the extra effort. Overall, RIB Soul Food is a great option for anyone craving a straightforward, satisfying steak experience in a cosy and casual setting.

came here for my dad’s birthday and we had a scrumptious meal! thanks for the blue lagoon starter drinks and the free birthday brownie with ice cream. we enjoyed the catfish, chicken fried steak, kids fish and chips and ribs - batter was spiced and crisp and meats were tender and juicy! sauces were also delicious, whether bbq or tartar or good ol’ gravy. good portions too. special shoutout to the PEACH COBBLER !!! our favourite dish of the day, creamy yet not sweet, crunchy and savoury… looking forward to eating it again. kudos also to staff that day for your warm and attentive service ☺️
