Read about the new One Punggol and its hawker food being served at reasonable prices. So went to check it out today. When we reached One Punggol, we walked through the hawker centre and indeed there were many different stalls with lots of tables and seats which are well spaced. RedangNation caught our eye. There was already a queue in front of the stall. The stall was at that time manned by a few ladies, who are friendly and warm and we were easily persuaded by their friendliness to give it a try. We got chicken rendang with rice and another beef rendang with rice, each came with a side of vegetables which you can choose. And this for a very reasonable price of $5.50. We also added a bagedil each for another 80c. The beef rendang was well cooked, the beef was cooked till tender and rendang gravy was thick and the flavours released from the spices make it really tasty. I had a red chili sauce added to it, and I think you should try it. It wasn't spicy but rather mildly sweet side. I really like eating the rice with that chili too. As for the veggies, I asked for curry vegetables and was given quite a generous portion. Lastly which is very important to me, is that the dishes are placed nicely around the rice and not all put and mixed together in a haphazard manner on the rice. An elderly man, queueing in front of me ordered nasi padang and he ordered about 5 different dishes and I was so impressed that all the food was arranged so nicely around the rice on his plate. This is what I call taking pride in serving up a nice dish, taking the effort and time to arrange the dishes. After seeing that, I was determined to order from this stall. Overall, it was a very good lunch, very filling, and at a very reasonable price. You can be sure that the next time I'm back, it will be for the nasi padang 😊

Authentic Malay Cuisine in punggol. Beef Rendang is tender and delicious. Begedil and the black chilli sauce is bomb. Would like them to season the lontong more saltier and creamier with coconut milk. Overall is 4 stars Staff are friendly and service is fast. Prices are reasonable

The only authentic Malay stall in One Punggol Hub. It is sad because it is the only Malay cuisine here but fortunately they cook the dishes here very well. PayNow is available here. The Nasi Sambal Goreng is flavourful and authentically cooked. The beef rendang is soft and tasty. The lontong gravy here is thick with real coconut flavor. The portion is quite filling. The price is very affordable. Will try more dishes in the near future. Hopefully they can maintain the food standards too.

The lontong here is about the best that I have ever had! Lemak, generously portioned and so tasty... and for just $4! The kueh lopes was also large and without any hard corners. Sedap!!!

The punggol area needs a decent nasi padang stall & Rendang Nation is one good place to get your favorite Malay traditional favorites,Mee Rebus/Mee Siam/Longtong kampung .My favorite from the a la carte menu is their beef Rendang, so tender & flavorful from their unique blend of spices..Bergedil,sayoh lodeh,Assam fish, Rendang chicken & the Malay kuehs are not to be missed.I like the mee Rebus here too, keep coming back for it 🤗
