Nice rustic ambience. The prawn butter sauce is good. Good service. Btw. They accept Nets/Grab Pay only - no credit card. You can make payment after ordering at the counter. They will bring the food to your table. The chairs are sturdy for plus size guests also.

The good is generally good. Just not sure why there isn’t much people. Just one comment, the fish row portion is really small, only 2 pieces . Menu isn’t very clear , I need the staff’s assistance to explain how the set meal comes with. Once you decided your orders, proceed to the counter to make your payment and wait for the food to be served .

I needed a quick lunch, so I had to go for an eatery that was not crowded. And then I came here. The food was not fantastic to rave about, but was decent enough. The fact that there was not many customers when I went there during lunch hour could be telling about how the food was not that fantastic. Decent enough, nevertheless, though I wish there was better customer service to assist in explaining what the set meals comprised..

Had the promotional menu that serves 4 pax with Assam fish head as highlight. The size we got was definitely be able to fill 5 stomachs. We barely finish the curry fish head and the accompanying dishes. The Assam fish head was surprisingly big and the Assam flavour we picked was well done! The other flavour that mixes curry with Assam is another flavour to try…it’s pretty well done!

Yummy curry fishhead go to restaurant that never fails. Served and kept warm in a claypot, it now comes with a yuan-yang option of curry and assam. Love that the bean curd skin is served on the side. Staff is super friendly and helpful, offering to split our side dishes into 2 portions to be served to our kids sitting at a different table, given the 2-pax dining restrictions.

Severely underrated restaurant. The food is really great, and given the price (23.90++) as an ala carte buffet, it's unbeatable. Especially when there is a free fish head with 4 paying customers(buffet). Recommended.

This place is under Soup Restaurant and its way underrated. Not an avid fan of curry fish head but I've been there few times with others to try the curry fish head and I must say its damn good. The curry is thick and laden with veges and tau kee and the fish is fresh too, but the chap cai is too overcooked for my liking. Im so glad that they've recently come up with a $9.90 nett Weekday set menus for single diners, which consist of a carb, a meat and a side, on some days they include a downsized version of curry/kahwin fish fillet. I tried their Kahwin fish fillet and the fish is super fresh too. Do visit this place as it can be quiet during lunch times.

Food like zhi char. Dun expect too much or high quality. For the amount paid is the quality provided. The food is average. Fish head soup taste like pig organ soup. Is not as tis place is halal Certified. Not bad. Vermicelli prawn is nice n taste is there.

Went here for dinner for 5. It was not busy and was quite impressed with the atmosphere. We ordered the sweet and sour fish, curry chicken, sambal kangkong, salted egg sotong and all dishes were quite tasteful. It came out to about $60++ after GST and service tax. Recommended place to go for sharing meals. Update: came back after a few years and standard as not dropped. Got the fish head curry this time and it was good!👍🏼

Very good curry fish-head - a bonus it has my favourite tau pok and beancurd skin in it!

Always come here for the fish head option. Tried both kind, Assam & curry…quite good. It’s very flavourful and strong which we prefer. The ingredients is plentiful and the size of the fish head is pretty reasonable for the price we paid for. Just a fish head is good for 3 pax of average eater. Will try the mix Assam and curry the next time round.

Halal zi char. The kamwin curry fish head is a must try. The set menu is worth it, comes with fish head, egg and cabbage. Kamwin fish head ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Egg ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beef rendang ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kang Kong ⭐️⭐️⭐️
