Nice small cozy family restaurant for Italian food. My family loves the bread, starters and dips here. Pasta is not bad. The lunch set is pretty small though and not very filling, wished there was more pasta!

Come here if you want authentic Italian cuisine. Everything we ordered was delicious.. The staff and owner, Kak Roziana, were amazing and friendly.. Didn't have to wait long for food to be served too. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. Such a warm and cosy ambience in the restaurant, just nice for intimate gathering with friends or family. Will definitely come again..

Value for money to enjoy such amazing food @$30.50 for their lunch set. Tried seafood and meat set. Shared a basket of bread to pair it with their amazing olive oil. Then comes the soup and afterwards carbs. Their portion is moderate yet leave you full at the end. Really enjoyed the calamari; the squid is definitely fresh and delicious! The staff were nice and friendly. Overall enjoyed my time here!

I called in for a reservation last min and was glad they could accomodate. Casually mentioned abt my husband’s birthday meal but was not expecting them to remember it, yet they did came w a nice surprise for him at the end. We received impeccable service from Amir, very thoughtful. Initially ordered a plain aglio for my 3yo and he suggested to add some protein(chicken) for her otherwise it’s too plain. He was also very understanding when my 8mo keeps dropping stuff on the floor. Very impressed w the sphagetti, cooked to perfection. We brought my 3yo’s leftover home, heat and eat the next day and the noodle still taste al dente. Only comment was my hubby’s prawn aglio could be a tad saltier, everything else tasted really good! We’ll certainly revisit again! Thankyou, Amir, for the pleasant experience 😊

Nice neighbourhood restaurant. Been coming to this place since their old place at upper Changi road north. Nice, simple dishes and truly enjoyable

Nostalgia brought my friends and I back to Porta Porta. The location may be different from the old one at Changi but the food and staff definitely bring back the memories. Am so glad the quality and taste remain the way we remembered it. Chatting with the lady owner/chef is like taking to an old friend or relative. Thanks for all your hard work!

Stopped by for lunch on a weekend. The service is very good and friendly. The restaurant is well set up and simple. The aglio olio with prawns was very well done. Save the bread to soak up the garlic sauce from the aglio olio. We also had the rosemary chicken which was very tender. Parking may be a bit of a problem so best to come early.

I have a different experience compared to the others sadly I had high hopes for this place but I still had a pretty decent meal. The bread I got served was soggy? Not the greatest start for me. Food wasn't heavily seasoned and I could taste that they were made with fresh ingredients. The aglio olio was great.

The mushroom pasta and vongole pasta was great (not pictured). The lasagna (pictured) was frankly just average. The appetiser (pictured)was nice but I didn't think it was worth the price tag. I went back for a second time for lunch and their lunch menu was quite worth it ($30.50 at time of review). A little more costly than average (expect to spend about $40-50 per pax) but the servings are very generous, definitely worthwhile for a quality halal restaurant.

Took their set lunch! Ultra worth, cozy, a little dark but if you are up for that ambience it's a yes! Very attentive servers as well.

Our food tasting experience at Porta Porta was nothing short of extraordinary. The communal delight of the homemade bread antipasti set the tone, while the simplicity and perfection of the calamari left us in awe, earning a well-deserved 10/10 rating. The seafood risotto, with its generous serving of prawns, was a delectable masterpiece that left us craving more. However, it was the lamb rack paired with cheesy truffle mashed potatoes that stole the spotlight, showcasing a harmony of flavors and textures that delighted the senses. Porta Porta has truly redefined Halal Italian cuisine in Singapore, setting a new standard of excellence that is unmatched. Undoubtedly, it stands as the epitome of the best Halal Italian dining experience in the city!

First time patronising this restaurant. Highly recommended to make reservation prior to the visit. (Lucky for us we managed to get a table despite not making reservation earlier) We ordered Pappardelle, Gnocchi and Lamb. All the presentation are pretty simple, but the flavours definitely do not disappoint! Very classic and authentic Italian way of cooking. Overall it is a very pleasant dining experience. Will definitely come back again.

Tried the beef ragu, wife had the squid ink pasta. Was too busy eating and forgot to take photos! Both were excellent and portions were massive. Wanted to also say the chicken liver pate was very good. I usually steer away from this dish because of the metallic taste. However thought I should give it a try and boy am I glad I did! The complimentary bread was also really good as was their smoked (I think?) eggplant dip. Absolutely amazing. Will be bringing the rest of the fam back! I want to try the chicken, the risotto , and the calamari next!

We have eaten at Porta Porta several times and enjoyed it every time. The menu reminds me of the Italian food my parents cooked growing up and we love having an authentic halal Italian option to enjoy with our Muslim friends. The portions are extremely generous and great value. My favourite dishes are the Calamari Fritti, the Homemade pate, the lamb chops (these were thick and juicy!) and surprisingly the gnocchi Quattro formaggi (4 cheese gnocchi)

Experience the finest Italian cuisine with the added assurance of halal certification at this cozy restaurant. Upon entering, you're greeted with a homely atmosphere. Their homemade bread, served with olive oil and aubergine, is a delightful starter. The service is both speedy and welcoming, with staff offering helpful recommendations. A standout dish is the parmesan aubergine, wonderfully creamy. The fried calamari, though fresh, benefits from a squeeze of lemon for added flavor. The highlight, however, is the pasta selection, featuring savory options like aglio olio prawn and creamy mushroom, both equally satisfying. Generous portions make sharing between 2 to 3 adults ideal. Save room for dessert, we had the panna cotta with sauce and fresh fruits is exceptionally delectable. Round off your meal with a hot latte for the perfect conclusion to a memorable Italian dining experience. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends when the restaurant tends to be full. Highly recommended for all food enthusiasts.
