Lamb kofta ($17 + $5 for hummus + $14 for extra lamb kofta) - Good. Falafel ($13 for 4 pieces) - Excellent. Large pieces. In the Alibabar coffee shop at the corner of Joo Chia Rd and East Coast Rd, across the road from i12.

Watched a video featuring the owner and came to try with some friends. Beef Tashreeb is really good, lamb kofta is nicely seasoned, pilaf rice is fluffy and fragrant. Owner is particular about using his utensils for only halal food when we asked for extra plates and cutlery, but don't be intimidated, he has a nice sense of humour. Enjoyed our meal very much.

I would like to give a huge compliment to Jian for the exceptional service he provides. This isn’t my first time here. I frequent this place quite a lot and every single visit reminds me why I keep coming back. Jian consistently goes above and beyond, and what truly stands out is how he remembers his customers. That personal touch makes the experience feel warmer and more welcoming, almost like returning to a familiar friend rather than just another dining spot. His attentiveness, friendly attitude, and genuine effort to ensure everything is perfect really elevate the dining experience. It’s rare to find service that feels both professional and heartfelt at the same time. The food is equally impressive; always delicious, flavourful, and served in wonderfully generous portions. The combination of great food, a pleasant atmosphere, and Jian’s outstanding service makes every visit thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a satisfying meal paired with top-notch hospitality.

Come and meet Pete. This is a really good place to be. It's fresh, fast and delicious. It was close to my hotel but gave me a wonderful experience of being able to sit in a semi-open space and feel the chatter and talk all around me of happy people. The food is absolutely great. Flaverfully spiced. I'm looking forward to coming back again. Reasonably priced and utterly delicious. Also Pete makes you feel very welcome. Also has skewers and Iraqi stew. Steak over rice. Wagyu steak available. Attractive signs brought me in. Stop by and tell him Jaye recommended place.
