Tried PerghChicks thrice and honestly I was excited for ayam gepuk, only for me to be served with hard/dried rice and rice crust. The mentaiko fries was nice though. Other than the waiting time and the quality of the rice, everything was alright!

Ordered delivery. This portion costs $10. Ridiculous not? Follow up review. Dear PerghChicks, as a business owner, I am not sure what is the purpose of accepting reviews if you only expect good reviews. For one, I did not spread misinformation. I ordered online via your partner site Oddle, and you cannot deny that I paid that price and received that portion. Of course you can argue I could have ordered directly from you but if you had marked up the prices there without wondering if it affects the cost performance of what you are offering, you need to relook into your business decision making methods. Whatever it is, I paid this (even you said it was ridiculous) amount and received this food from your restaurant. You cannot simply relinquish responsibility by saying I could have ordered from you directly. On the other hand, why don't you review if it is worth getting more business from partner sites at the expense of bad customer satisfaction? And I also wonder if you posted your customer's name with malice intention to intimidate or insult, which perhaps then you might want to think again if that's the type of image of a company that will be desirable when others look through your reviews. I wish you success in this tough business environment but I won't be patronising again for sure.

The food is great, very tasty. But my rice wasn't shaped like the other's order. Don't know what's that mean, but if it's the part of the SOP, they have to do it anyway. Teh Tarik is so good 🤌

Tried Ayam Gepuk at PerghChick for the first time. The chicken was tender and juicy, which I really enjoyed. However, it would have been much better if it was served piping hot. I went for Chilli Hot Level 3 and it’s definitely not for the faint-hearted. The spice level is intense and packs a real punch, especially if you’re not used to very spicy food. Plus point: you can request extra chilli and white rice for free, which is great if you love the sambal or need something to balance the heat.

Saw this place on TikTok and decided to come try it. The food looked really amazing in the videos, and in person it was still pretty good. Portions were a bit smaller than expected compared to what I saw online, but the taste was decent and enjoyable. Overall, it was a nice experience to try it out — though personally, for the price, I might explore other options next time.
