It was very warm in the restaurant. The food quality was below expectations. We ordered vegetarian fried rice and other dishes. The staff service is terribly slow when there's not much customer. There's better options for good Indian food.

The food tasted superb n authentic. Definitely to return for more soon. Recommended. The only time I taste these kind of delicious food when I dine in at the 5 stars hotel restaurants. Do check them out.

Definitely the worst biriyani I've had in Singapore. The food served here doesn't live up to the brand name. Biriyani lacked flavor and even salt. Prawn biriyani was extremely spicy but the biriyani rice was just the same as mutton. Kottu parota was also plain-ly spicy. The meals was alright, the only thing that was good about it was there was a variety of the side dishes but other than that there wasn't anything special. Anjappar is a big let down if you think the standard of the food served will live up to its brand name.

AVOID —— Very pathetic chicken biryani no taste except too salty and no justice to the price charged. Even veg biryani is quite bad not up to the taste you expect for price charged. Mushroom soup was watery and not quite close to mushroom soup, some water with flour and canned mushroom pieces! Ghee dosa served cold and not up to the taste we expected! At least Anjappar could have done dosa right! We suffered to have come to Anjappar Westgate. Others please don’t make same mistake. Paneer cheese rolls ordered as starters were better but again too salty.

Perhaps the worst possible Indian restaurant I have ever been to. There isnt a 0 stars option sadly. From service to food, everything was a major disappointment. Ordered the naan and butter chicken. The picture speaks for itself. Prices are considered exorbitant for the quantity and lack of quality. The butter chicken is pitiful with only handful of bitesize chicken chunks. So tiny I can barely see. The naan was thin and can barely fill your stomach. I have tried various other indian restaurants and this is by far the worst. The service was horrendous. Whilst taking our order, waiter got distracted by an enquiry and totally ignored my order. Had to repeat my order to get her attention again. 2 drinks, 2 naans and 1 butter chicken is close to $50. With sub par quality…shocking.

The tandoori is very good. All dishes are authentic and tasty. However I think it’s kind of pricy. A mixed naan basket cost $18. Service is so so, they don’t even bother to come to the cashier counter even we were standing and waiting there for awhile.

Was crowded for dinner. Do get your reservations early to avoid long queues. The food was nice and the staff were very friendly. A small restaurant. Abit costly, though. Situated at Level 4 West Gate.

The plain thosai was extremely delicious. The thosai was crispy, sour and savoury. The sambar was flavourful, savoury, moreish and has a hint of potato taste. The orange chutney was tangy and refreshing, white chutney coconuty and the star was definitely the green chutney which was extremely garlicky and savoury. One of the lady was also extremely hospitable and came over to tell me that I needed to tarik the masala tea as the one in the cup contained sugar while the one outside did not. The masala tea was also very fragrant. Would definitely recommend both the plain thosai and masala tea.

First time visit Anjappar. Went to the one at Westgate. I’ve wanted to have Rasam, Fish Curry Gravy, Fish Fry & plain rice. I had my cravings satisfied. For Rasam and Fish Curry Gravy it’s not on the menu so the staff still serves it for me. They were all helpful, friendly and polite. My photo is not complete as I was so hungry 🤭 Thank you for your amazing food and service. Definitely will be back to try other menu 😊

Good Indian food, lots of variety, including vegetarian options. Dosa is also available including the very long one. Newly renovated so it’s brighter, cleaner and more appealing. Good, attentive service

The moment I had the chicken gravy, it was a full on endorphin bomb. It hits all the right spot and I'm still thinking about it. I've never had such an amazing banana leaf rice. 200% coming back again. Anjappar has totally won me.

Much much much better than the branch in Little India. The food taste was great. Happy to have Anjappar restaurant in my area. Perfect place for Indian non-vegetarian lovers. We went for lunch. Mutton briyani was awesome. The is small but nice and cozy. The staffs are friendly. Usually their quantity of briyani is more. So was it this time also. It definitely suits the south Indian briyani taste. The tiny and fragrant, jeeraga samba rice is perfect for briyani. Definitely recommend and must visit.

Visited this place yesterday with my family. Had been to Anjappar at other outlets, but for the first time Visited this outlet. Since it was a public holiday, and around 7:15 pm,it was completely occupied. We waited for 5 mins and soon received a table for ourselves. Both the ladies,at the cash counter and taking order are nice and fast. All the staffs are prompt in their work. Food was served really fast, even though it was crowded.. Appreciated 👏 Since it was navratri time for us,so we only had vegetarian food. We chose to have their north Indian veg set meal, noodles, butter roti, juice .. Everything tasted delicious 😋 At the cash counter,we saw ,speciality of the day was " Hariyana Special " Deer Biryaani and roasted Deer" Haven't seen deer recipes at any other anjappar outlet ever, when we visited.

Anjappar mentioned they have crab with gravy and roasted crab or crab fry. I ordered take away for roasted crab. But i was given crab without gravy but it was not roasted at all. It seems they cook both in the same style, but they give with gravy and without gravy, but not really fried or roasted as expected.
