Went there to have some soup and it was not listed in the menu book. But they had a small white board which stated soup menus. So Ordered this Milaguthanni mutton soup, came in 2 bowls of soup and both of them had basmati rice. I called out the person who served the food and the restaurant manager at the time. I asked them why there is bits of rice? Both of them claimed.. oh this soup comes with a rice in the soup. I was shocked. It’s a South Indian restaurant and had mutton soup before with Anjappar and none of them came with bits of rice. And even one of the blabbered it’s North Indian soup, so it comes with rice. If you ran out of soup, admit it you don’t have. Rather than making up a sub par soup and adding left over mutton pieces from Briyani or something and trying to upsell it for 8-10$. Really pathetic… admit your mistake and move on rather than trying to cover up by saying “this type of soup comes with rice” Or blabbering “it’s a North Indian soup variety” when it’s named in Tamil. Please come up with better lies or admit it and move on!

I had Saturday brunch with my family - my parents, husband, brothers and our families. We enjoyed the food we had ordered from briyani to thosai. The service by Tamil was good and the food was served hot and speedily. We will come back

Had a wonderful dining experience at Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant. The chicken and mutton meals were absolutely delicious, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The food quality and authentic taste really stood out. Special thanks to Chef Tamil for the excellent service and warm hospitality. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great experience. Great food, great service — definitely a place I would recommend and come back again! 🙏🍛
